Den Chat is a new idea of mine it's going to be an evolving project, so please check it out and let me know what you think!

Overview

The general idea is that Den Chat will be a weekly post for updates and information of all kinds. Goals, ideas, news, information, etc. that I have or find interesting will all be a part of it and anything else that I find this to be a pertinent venue to share. Hence it will be a somewhat evolving project for a while until I find a good groove and rhythm which will hopefully allow the layout and general content to stabilize however my goal is to keep them somewhat unique and avoid cookie cutter syndrome, at the same time. In this issue, since it is the initial issue I will give a brief introduction to the topics in this issue, and in future issues if there is a new topic I will provide a brief introduction then.

Goals

This will be a regular portion of Den Chat, though I don't know if it will be in every issue as it depends on new goals and progress made on current goals. In general it will include on and off chain goals that I have and progress towards their completion.

Token Goals

• HP: My current goal is to hit the 100 HP mark. Currently I am at 44.975 HP; 44.975% of my goal.
• HBD: My current goal is to have 10 HBD in savings. Currently I have 8.165 HBD in savings; 81.65% of my goal.
• UTOPIS: My current goal is to get to 10 UTOPIS, which will all be staked. Currently I have 3.24067955 total UTOPIS; 32.4% of my goal.
• PIZZA: My current goal is to have 100 PIZZA total, both in my wallet and in diesel pools. Currently I have a total of 66.4241 PIZZA spread through my wallet, diesel pools, and VFT lab. That is 66.424% of my goal.

I'm not going to put any time frames on achieving these goals as I don't have a good enough time frame to be able to put a realistic time frame to them. Obviously, some of them will be achieved sooner than others as they are much closer to their target or much easier to earn than others. I'll be adding more tokens to this list as time goes on so you can expect a more robust list in the future.

Splinterlands Goals

My current Splinterlands goal is to have enough collection power to reach silver league so I can start earning rewards cards through quests and EOS rewards again. I will be doing this by continuing to grind daily quests to earn credits and renting out cards to increase DEC earnings. Right now my primary focus on buying cards will be to maximize my rental earnings to speed up my ability to enter into silver league. I expect for this to take a decent amount of time to achieve.

IRL Goals

Right now my main goal is to continue getting my house put together. Short term I need to buy some plane tickets to go out to my brother's wedding and in a couple weeks and I have a tattoo appointment a week from now. Those two aren't as much of a goal as he first however they are still smaller goals that are just closer to being done. Right now the next step for getting my house put together and set up is getting some shelving hung and getting some organization set up. I'm also waiting to hear from TAC, The Asatru Community, on my application and to, hopefully, receive my letter of acceptance.

Projects

Projects will be similar to Goals, and may even have some slight overlap. The main difference is that Projects will typically be more long term with not necessarily clear-cut, immediate goals.

• My Car: Right now my car seems to have a backfiring issue. I put in some fuels system cleaner which seemed to have resolved the issue, however it seems to be coming back now. I'm going to be trying some more fuel system cleaner and if that doesn't work I will have to replace the park plugs to see if that works.

• College: Right now I'm wanting to start college again, the next step for me will be figuring out which major I want to pursue and figuring out how to use my tuition assistance.

• Divorce/Child Custody: These are both connected and separate projects. The connections are obvious, however they are separate due to being two separate cases in two separate jurisdictions. The divorce will hopefully be over with soon, within 2-6 months is the time frame I'm looking at hopefully. The custody is still unknown but I'm hoping it will be over with in the same time frame. After that I just have to figure out how to pay off tens-of-thousands of attorney debt. I'll be happy to finally have all this be done and over with. After this is all said and done hopefully I will have more money to invest to grow my portfolios faster.

Ideas

• Community: I'm thinking of starting a community here on PeakD, with hopes to later turn it into a Tribe. I'm still working out all of the details for getting the community started but I will make a post about it once the details are finalized.

• Streaming: I'm thinking about starting to stream games on Vimm. The main thing holding me back is not having a good gaming PC, which will affect the gameplay and stream quality.

• Podcast: Back when I used to attend college I was a radio DJ and had my own radio show that aired three 1 hour long episodes per week. I have been thinking of starting up a podcast that would start off with 1 episode per week. I'm still researching the best place to host it and good recording software, though I know that I do want it to be on Aureal also.

• Imagery: I'm going to be working on finding and creating some images to use in my posts, starting with this one to make my posts more lively and eye-catching. Though the first part of this will be to figure out a good general theme to go with.

• Revenue Streams: I'm working on ideas to add additional revenue streams to increase my cash flow. One of the easier ones would be doordash or uber, though with sky high gas prices I'm not sure how much extra that would earn me and I don't know if I could stay interested enough to maintain it. One idea that I have considered is refurbishing furniture and reselling it, the only problem with that is supply of decent furniture for cheap prices that only needs refurbishing and isn't entirely destroyed or beyond repair.

Community Highlight

Hive Pizza

The Pizza community is a great community, they have all kinds of posts and the community can be found here. I have read numerous great posts from gaming to Hive posts to gaming to movie reviews and more. The community has a corresponding engagement token, the PIZZA token, which has many uses including tipping in comments on various front ends. You can check out the hive.pizza website for lots of PIZZA token information, the PIZZA roadmap, and even a game store where you can buy keys for PC games, and more. The PIZZA token has many exciting things coming down the road and is diligently worked on by @thebeardflex and @hivetrending. There are many ways you can earn PIZZA and earn with PIZZA, my personal favorite so far being the Diesel Pools on Tribaldex. The PIZZA community also has an amazing discord community where I have learned a lot, had many great conversations, and met several great people which you can find here. This concludes the first issue of Den Chat. I will be working on expanding into more subjects and expanding upon the current ones. The main thing that I want to avoid in all of these projects, including this one, is avoiding over ambition and over extending myself.
