Do you think Crypto projects are disappointing their community members because of crypto influencers overhyping their Airdrops?

I asked that question above because am curious and like to know what is going on in the world of Airdrop, amongst Airdrop hunters and crypto project developers, we have had a lot of disappointing crypto projects in the past few months but I would name only three which is SUI, $TS and the most recent one which is the SEI token airdrop.

Yesterday a lot of people were hyper and were waiting for the SEI Airdrop to claim and for the SEI Token to lunch let them go and buy their dream house and car with the free Airdrop money, but low and behold the SEI token launched but there was no Airdrop, their community member was piss and very much disappointed because the hype for SEI airdrop was too high and the community members hope for the airdrop was even higher but in the end SEI did not live up to their expectation.

I joined a lot of crypto spaces yesterday and I held a lot of things and different theories about why the SEI Airdrop did not leave upto their community member's expectations, in one Twitter space I join I held a lot of people blaming the crypto, and Airdrop influencers for raising their hopes high buy putting out unrealistic rewards like when they create Twitter threads say that you should do a certain testnet tasks for a possibility of getting the projects Airdrop reward worth $5k or $10k and even $20k.
