Imagine Binance switching to HBD as their stablecoin due to BUSD and SEC saga

About six (6) to seven (7) days ago I wrote two articles on how I felt about the BUSD and the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) saga, here are those two (2) articles, in case, you missed them Would BUSD survive the SEC witch hunt? Or become the next UST or HUSD? and How can a Stablecoin be an Unregistered Security? The SEC FUD on BUSD and suing its issuer Paxos is just ridiculous. Now if we are using the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) theory or logic against them on how to determine whether or not that an asset is a security or not, then BSUD (Binance USD) and its issuers Paxos are in the clear, because back in 2020 the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) brought a lawsuit against the founders of Ripple (XRP), saying that Ripple (XRP) is not a security based on Howey Test Criteria which is used to determine if an asset is a security or not.

What is Howey Test and its Criteria

The Howey Test is used to determine whether an investment contract exists. As per the Howey test, an asset can be classified as security if there is an investment of money in a common enterprise and the expectation of profits derived from the efforts of others.

Now, using Howey Test Criteria against the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) no stablecoin should be consider as a security because nobody invests in them with the intention of making money from them, people covert their money to stablecoins to retain their value because the volatility of the crypto market has zero or no effect on notable stablecoins. All that being said let's for a second imagine Binance switching to HBD (Hive-Backed Dollar) as their stablecoin because HBD is the only algorithmic stablecoin since after the crash of terra luna's stablecoin UST something last year that I trust. I must say if UST has not crashed this would have been its time to shine in the crypto space.

Let's say my imagination comes to pass and Binance switches to HBD as its stablecoin, the price to Hive will skyrocket to $100 and above because Binance adopting HBD as its stable will be a massive PR for Hive, it will put Hive on the map and everyone's radar, meaning everyone would want to know and invest in Hive, which will give Hive the massive adoption that it deserves and we have been wishing and praying for because Binance is the largest crypto exchange based on daily trading volume and it has a lot of users and investors, which it will be nice if they should invest in Hive.

Indeed that would put hive on the map, very strongly would be coming the adoption, in addition they would know the 20% that grants the HBD and more investors would arrive even more.

It is awesome to see that some your prediction are meeting up with the outcomes and matching orders. I do hope that the stability of HBD will not become epileptic again as it had been from August through December of 2022.
