The church of God was purchase with the blood of Jesus.

James 3:7 For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind:

We are more power than other animals, that is why we can tame them. So, we are not to worship them
We are higher than any other creation of God. When it comes to a good name, there is no other name good than the name of good. It is better to called the church the church of God.

Romans 12:9 Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.

St. John 12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

If you are refecting the word of Christ you are refecting Him. The Gentiles are heir and we are fellow members of the body of Christ. We must be members of the body, and is body is the Church of God.

Ephesians 3:6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

Joining the church is to accept the gospel of Christ. The gospel is what we will obey.

Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

In the bible singing is a commandment. We are to sing to God. Even singing is part of the Gospel.
