Friendship with the World

The bible emphatically stated that friendship with the world is an enmity with God. This simply means that when you have any association with the world, you are authomatically an enemy of God.

Now its true that we are in the world and we desire to be successful; graduate, get married, have children, buy cars, bulid houses, be popular and so on and so forth. It is sure good to desire the good things of life but remember that you can do all these in the God way without actually being friends with the world.

Being friends with the world here doesnt necessarily mean not having friends on earth, of course, we can have friends but good friends who believe God together with you. Friends who are connected with you in the spirit, friends who will not deny their maker in the face of trials and tribulations.

God desires that we make Him happy even with the condition of the world. Living right seems to be very difficult but the grace of God is sure enough to see us through if we ask for it and walk in line with God step by step.

Lastly for now, God wants us to be His special friend. He knows each and every one's name and He is ever ready to accept whosoever commits his or her ways to His hands. He loves us dealy and wants to have that personal contact and connection with us. Will you allow Him and His people in your heart today or you want to be entangled with the world and all that comes with it and in it? Think wisely, the very choice is yours.
