HOPE IN UNCERTAIN TIMES

Hello beautiful people. There is something I have noticed, many people are experiencing a hard time because of the economic situation and the changing culture of work and just how fast technology is spreading its fingers into everything.

This situation makes people to be confused about what to do and how to survived because what they are scared that what they know may not be enough to help them survive the change that is coming.

Sometimes, people have to sacrifice everything to learn new skills so they can stay ahead of the game, stay relevant at their workplace and survive when cuts begin to happen. They can't spend as much holiday time as their want with their family, they can't engage with their friends anymore on weekends because of it. People who are in this category face issues like fear, doubt and they are consistently worried about what will happen.

The only solution I can offer them is to tell them that there is hope as long as they are still alive, the situation on ground is only going to make them stronger, it will push them to learn new skills and also make their character stronger.

What can they do to balance the situation? There are a couple of things to keep in mind so that we can keep hope alive and we will talk about them below.

The first thing to keep in mind is the fact that, we have people who love us and care about us, these people are our family members, our friends that we have cultivated and they know us, they know our struggles, we share our daily lives with them. They help us to remember that we are not alone and we can lean on them when we are weak or weary.

The second thing to keep in mind is we must avoid staying by ourselves, when we are alone, bad thoughts and fear can easily creep in, we have to go outside to play, we have to do some activities that will make us laugh and have fun. Although they may be temporary, they help us renew our strength and see that life is worth living.

The third thing we have to do to keep hope alive is consistent exercise. The body is our primary workspace and home, we must keep it in shape and make sure it is fit to work everyday. Taking out 10 minutes to consistently exercise everyday will go a long way to keep us fit when we look back at what we have done in a year.

These exercises do not have to be complex at all, we can take a walk or ride a bicycle around a field for a few minutes and that activity will rejuvenate our body, we will sweat out the confusion and when we go in to bath, we will be refreshed completely.

The fourth thing to do is not allow negative thoughts to dominate our minds, this happens when we focus on what is wrong too much instead of searching for a solution. Once you realize that you are thinking about something depressing for a long time, look for something uplifting to do, listen to music or watch a calming movie. You have to keep your mind positive at all times because that is the way to renew hope in your life.

The fifth thing to do is seek help when you realize that you are falling short and you cannot do it alone. You can find someone you trust or look for a therapist or psychologist who will listen to you and offer professional advice and give you tasks that will liberate you from the downward spiral.

We have talked about five things you can do to renew your hope, if you can practice them, you will realize that the situation you are in is temporary and you can easily come out of it stronger and better.

When you practice them you will be so proud of yourself when you start seeing the result of your consistency, you will be mentally and physically fit. You will have people around you to cheer you on and to share your time with, it will be a situation of work and play, no area will be lacking.
