Hello beautiful people. This is a topic that is very dear to my heart. I am pleased to share with you one of the most important aspects that impact growth and development in life.

It is commonly said that a person's success is tied to their ability to lead and live a healthy and disciplined life or lifestyle and I can confirm that this is true and it cannot be overemphasized. The emphasis here is that a healthy lifestyle cannot be achieved without discipline and discipline cannot be achieved without a healthy lifestyle. Both of them go hand in hand. One cannot exist without the other.

This emphasis is made because what sustains discipline, in the long run, is a backing of a healthy lifestyle that will serve as the foundation so that if there is a challenge or a fallback, you can fall back on the healthy lifestyle foundation.

Nothing tangible can be achieved without intentional discipline. Before we dive deep, let's look at what discipline is; it is a set of rules and regulations that you have to adhere to because they apply to every part of your life, you sacrifice your pleasure for it, and you also sacrifice your freedom for it.

It doesn't mean you will not enjoy the good things of life, what it means is that you don't just go on a spree, you monitor what you do, you monitor the activities you partake in, you regulate your sleep, you regulate what you eat, you regulate where you go and you regulate in the extraordinary activities you enjoy. You embrace moderation in everything and at the end of all that, you will find yourself to be tough, but fair, exposed but well-mannered, and you have respect for the little things of life.

If you desire to accomplish great things, you must be a visionary man or woman, your desire to excel and succeed must overshadow your desire for pleasure, especially temporary pleasures. Many people sacrifice their long-term goals for temporary pleasures, they cancel meetings because they want to have fun, they skip study time because they want to see a movie, and they are desperately unaccountable.

That means you cannot be like that, you have to sacrifice time, effort, and resources, to participate in various institutions of learning, and you must prove to be a person of excellence when it comes to theoretical learning and also in the practical application of the knowledge you have acquired in any given field.

To tell you the utmost truth, personal discipline is good if you want to be excellent. We know it can be tough if it is not tough, it is not discipline, if you don't reconsider the decisions that means you are on the easy path and you will ultimately cancel your decisions. Personal discipline helps you to assume 2 roles.

Firstly, you become a teacher; this role helps you to ascertain what you need to know, why you need to know it, and what benefit it will afford, in this position, you are to make the hard decisions that come with personal discipline.

Secondly, you assume the position of a student, learning from yourself, using the information you get out of your training as feedback, and then correcting the errors you come across. That means you are the first person to alpha test, clear out bugs, and also give yourself feedback as well.

This combination is a sacrifice that only a disciplined person can undergo and not come out broken. Only a disciplined person will earn a high place amongst men.

There is no law anywhere against discipline. It is one of the areas of life that no one will advise you to avoid. It is your right to experience what it means to enjoy disciplined progress, smooth networking, and the immeasurable peace of mind that accompanies that.

If you can master personal discipline, then there is very little that the world can throw at you that you will not be able to conquer. You will become unbelievably strong, you will be properly prepared and you will know what it takes to get what you want. This combination is a success-confirmed strategy that has worked for many and it will work for you if you adopt it.

So how do you adopt it?

Decide to discipline yourself consistently, don't do it halfway, and then neglect it, the relapse will be seriously dangerous because you will have to work twice as hard to be disciplined again.
