Breakfast with friends at St. Honoré

This week I had the opportunity to visit one of my favorite places, St Honoré located in La Alameda, Caracas, being this the main establishment of this chain of restaurants is in my opinion the most beautiful and stocked, with a variety of super flashy products, such as the 'Manchego cheese and red fruits' and the 'Praliné' that looks super colorful.

The menu offers breakfast and lunch of all kinds, but the prices are a bit high compared to other places. The day I went there we ordered three portions of 4 empanadas, each for 10$, they were delicious but in my opinion 4 empanadas for 10$ seems expensive, since in the center of Caracas you can buy the same for less than 5$.

On the other hand, if you are really coffee lovers I recommend you to go to this restaurant, since the price/quality ratio is the best: the small coffee is 2.5$ and the large one is 3$, and they have their own coffee bean which, in my opinion, is one of the best coffees in the city.

The aesthetics of the place is super nice, full of green plants, with wooden tables and white rattan chairs. The bad thing is that almost all the vegetation in the place is fake, I'm not a fan of this decision but I understand it because when you put real plants you take the risk of running with bad smells or having a mosquito infestation.

This St. Honoré location has an internet network available for customers, which is around 20 Megas when the place is super crowded. I am aware that it is not the best internet in town but I think it has enough speed to work from there.

One of the limitations of this location is that it is located in La Alameda, an area of difficult pedestrian access, it is a little remote and to get there you have to take two buses, so the vast majority of customers are people who have a car.

Another thing I have noticed is that most of the clientele of this place tend to be older adults, but I think it is an amazing place with good customer service, which should be frequented by more young people, so you know, if you are in Caracas and want to have a good coffee I recommend you to go to St. Honoré.

Esta semana tuve la oportunidad de visitar uno de mis locales favoritos, la sede de St Honoré ubicada en La Alameda, Caracas, siendo esta la cede principal de esta cadena de restaurants es a mi parecer la más bonita y abastecida, con una variedad de productos super llamativos, como el ‘Queso manchego y frutos rojos’ y el ‘Praliné’ que tiene un aspecto super colorido.

En el menú cuentan con desayunos y almuerzos de todo tipo, pero los precios son un poco elevados a comparación a otros locales. El día que fui pedimos tres raciones de 4 empanas, cada una en 10$, estaban ricas pero en mi opinón 4 empanadas por 10$ me parece costoso, ya que en el centro de Caracas te puede comprar eso mismo por menos de 5$.

Por otra parte, si son amantes del café de verdad les recomiendo ir a este restaurant, ya que la relación precio/calidad es la mejor: el café pequeño está en 2.5$ y el grande en 3$, y cuentan con su propio grano de café el cual, en mi opinión, es uno de los mejores cafés de la ciudad.

La estética del local es super bonita, lleno de plantas verdes, con mesas de madera y sillas de rattan blanco. Lo malo es que casi toda la vegetación del local es falsa, no soy fan de esta decisión pero la entiendo ya que cuando se colocan plantas reales se toma el riesgo de correr con malos olores o tener una infecta de mosquitos.

Esta cede de la St.Honoré cuenta con una red de internet disponible para clientes, la cual ronda los 20 Megas estando el local super lleno. Estoy consiente de que no es el mejor internet de la ciudad pero me parece que tiene velocidad suficiente para trabajar desde allí.

Una de las limitantes de esta cede es que se encuentra en La Alameda, una zona de difícil acceso peatonal, ya queda un poco apartada y para llegar allí hay que tomar dos autobuses, por lo que la gran mayoría de los clientes son personas que cuentan con carro.

Otra cosa que he notado es que la mayoría de la clientela de este local suelen ser adultos mayores, pero me parece que es un local increíble con una buena atención al cliente, el cual debería ser frecuentado por mas jovenes, así que ya saben, si se encuentran en Caracas y quieren tomarse un buen café les recomiendo ir a St. Honoré.
