The truth is, if we were to measure the time that has passed since we were children, young adults, and now adults, we'd think life's journey hasn't been that long, because all those memories will always be present in our minds. Even as time passes, they'll always be close to us. Just a reunion with a family member or childhood friend is enough to relive some pleasant moments from the past.

Well friends, there is no doubt that family gatherings represent an essential part of family life, as they allow us to strengthen the ties between family members and at the same time improve communication. Many times, due to lack of time or for any other reason, the family remains separated, although they keep in constant contact through phone calls, but that is not enough, the family needs personal contact, one on one, with their relatives, to give a hug, a kiss, look at each other in the face, talk, etc.

Hola amigos, deseo que todos estén bien, al igual que sus familiares, les cuento que el pasado 23 de marzo cumplí 68 años, la verdad es que si nos ponemos a medir el tiempo que ha pasado desde que éramos niños, jóvenes y hasta el presente como adultos, pensaríamos que el camino de la vida no ha sido tan largo, porque en nuestra memoria siempre van a estar presentes todos esos recuerdos, que aunque pase el tiempo siempre van a estar cerca de nosotros, basta con tener un reencuentro con algún familiar u amigo de la infancia, para volver a vivir algunos momentos agradables del ayer.

Bueno amigos, no hay duda en que las reuniones familiares representan una parte esencial de la vida familiar, ya que nos permiten fortalecer los lazos entre los miembros de la familia y a la vez mejorar la comunicación, muchas veces, por falta de tiempo o por cualquier otra razón, la familia se mantiene separada, aunque se mantengan en contacto permanente mediante las llamadas por teléfono, pero eso no es suficiente, la familia necesita el contacto personal de tú a tú, con sus familiares, darse un abrazo, un beso, mirarse a la cara, conversar, etc...

As I told you at the beginning, last March 23rd I turned 68 years old, the truth is that I never imagined that there they had prepared a surprise for me, until the day arrived where I received many congratulations, it was then when at the end of the afternoon of that day, they told me that at night they were going to cut a cake for me to sing happy birthday, where my children, my sister and my nephew would be present, I CONFESS, that I felt very happy to find out about this surprise, more than anything because the family was going to meet again on my birthday.

Como les decía al comienzo, el pasado 23 de Marzo cumplí 68 años, la verdad es que nunca me imaginé que por allí me tenían preparado una sorpresa, hasta que llegó el día donde recibí muchas felicitaciones, fue entonces cuando a finales de la tarde de ese día, me dijeron que en la noche me iban a picar una torta para cantar el cumpleaños, donde estarían presentes mis hijos, mi hermana y mi sobrino, les CONFIESO, que me sentí muy feliz al enterarme de esa sorpresa, más que todo porque la familia se iba a reencontrar en mi cumpleaños.

A las 8 de la noche apagamos la luz para cantar el cumpleaños y por supuesto para picar la torta, la cual se veía muy deliciosa con el baño de chocolate y las fresas.

I CONFESS, that I felt very happy and excited with this birthday present, the truth is that I did not expect this surprise, the cake was very delicious, as well as a delicious quesillo that my sister prepared, this celebration besides making me feel happy, also served to strengthen family ties, there is no doubt that family ties nourish us emotionally, for this reason family gatherings are important, I wish we could celebrate the birthday of a relative every week, ha, ha.

LES CONFIESO, que me sentí muy feliz y emocionado con este regalo de cumpleaños, la verdad es que no esperaba esta sorpresa, la torta estaba muy deliciosa, al igual que un delicioso quesillo que preparó mi hermana, esta celebración, además de hacerme sentir feliz, también sirvió para estrechar los lazos familiares, no hay duda en que los lazos familiares nos nutren emocionalmente, por esta razón son importantes las reuniones familiares, ojala pudiéramos celebrar todas las semanas el cumpleaños de algún miembro de la familia, ja,ja
