A big greeting to the entire community Market Friday Today I accompanied my wife to do some shopping at the supermarket, especially to help her choose the vegetables , because most of the time she chooses them, they turn out bad.

Well friends, the truth is that I have learned a lot from my crops, that is why it is difficult to be fooled or to select fruits and vegetables in poor condition, let me clarify! It's not that my wife grabs the fruits without checking them, no gentlemen, I didn't mean that, what happens is that there are some vegetables that seem good and are not, there are also fruits like avocado that we try to choose. one that is ripe and it turns out that when we get home we chop it and see that it was rotten inside or that it was hard, because it still needed to ripen, so we are left with the gabas of eating it, and that happens with other legumes.

In this publication I bring you some TIPS so that you can identify the quality of your vegetables and fruits, the truth is that it is important to know how to choose the fruits and vegetables that we are going to buy, because apart from staying with the desire to enjoy the fruit that we have purchased, we also lose money.

TIPS so you can buy good quality fruits and vegetables

Yes friends, it is unpleasant when we buy some fruits and when we get home we open them and realize that they were not the way we wanted them, or what is worse, they were bad. Below I will give you some tips to keep in mind when buying your fruits and vegetables at the supermarket, to prevent them from turning out bad.

Recommendations:

If you are going to buy avocados, take the following into account:

  • If the avocado you want is to eat when you get home, do the following: squeeze the two ends, if you feel that these two parts are soft, it is because the rest of the pulp is also soft.

  • If you feel that when you press the center of the avocado skin with your finger it is too soft, it is most likely that it is too ripe inside, and has even begun to damage:

  • If the establishment allows you to cut the avocado, then order a fruit that is ready to eat and ask the seller to cut it himself, so you know what you are buying:

If you are going to buy pumpkin:

  • If you are going to buy a piece of pumpkin, take into account the color of the pulp, try to choose a piece that is an intense yellow almost orange, do not buy a piece of pumpkin that is pale yellow, because they are tasteless:

  • If you are going to buy a whole pumpkin, try to choose a pumpkin whose bottom tip is as small as possible, I mean the tip that is in the center of the fruit. Generally this type of fruit has an intense yellow pulp that is dry when cooked, ideal for preparing puree and creams:

  • Another important detail is that you grab two pumpkins that apparently are the same size, and apart from having the details that I have recommended in the previous point, having both pumpkins, I recommend that you choose the one with the greatest weight:

How to choose the onions that we are going to buy in the supermarket

Onions are very durable when the curing process is carried out in the field as it should, which consists of leaving the onions in the sun until the leaf dries and the neck of the onion closes. I can tell you about this, that there are Farmers who, to save time, prefer to cut the leaf to take them quickly to the market, which causes the moisture produced by the onion itself to enter through the tip, causing the center of the onion to be damaged. Most of the time this detail goes unnoticed by the buyer.

  • When you choose your onions, try to squeeze the top part, which is the part where the leaves were, when doing this, if any foamy liquid comes out, it is most likely that this onion is damaged in the center:

  • Another detail is that the onion has to be hard, if we press it with our hand and its layers move, it is not good, so we discard it immediately, because most likely the storage place has suffered heat, which which produces a bad smell between the membranes:

How to choose a good cabbage

It is easy to choose a good cabbage, just squeeze this whole ball of leaves to know if it is good or bad, if when you squeeze it you notice that it is very soft, it is best to look for another one that is very compact, if possible buy one that is cut and so you can see each layer of leaves which have to be well joined without spaces between them:

Hello, it's good that you like avocados, I like them too, on my farm I have different types, the stick usually ripens from the inside out, that's why sometimes we think that they are still green and it turns out that they were ripe. greetings.

Yes, it is important to know when the vegetables and fruits are in good condition, because many times they look good and when we get home we realize that they are bad and we lose money. Greetings.
