Hello dear Alien Art community! This is my first art post of this year, I hope you are doing great today. I want to share with you this piece I've been working on for the last two days, I called it the Black Virgin, because it's the opposite of the virgin we commonly see.
I like to do dark pieces, it's what I excel at or maybe it's just what I enjoy doing, dark details and fantasy. Here is the process.

¡Hola querida comunidad de Alien Art! Este es mi primer post de arte de este año, espero que estén muy bien el día de hoy. Quiero compartir con ustedes esta pieza en la que he estado trabajando los últimos dos días, la llamé la Virgen Negra, porque es lo opuesto a la virgen que comúnmente vemos.
Me gusta hacer piezas oscuras, es en lo que destaco o tal vez simplemente es lo que disfruto hacer, detalles oscuros y fantasía. Aquí les dejo el proceso.

When I made the sketch the typical story of horror movies or stories came to my mind, where they say that in a cult they end up sacrificing a virgin girl in worship to the evil being, this girl always ends up being the most beautiful. Here is my inspiration.
Cuando hice el boceto me vino a la cabeza la típica historia de las películas o cuentos de terror, donde dicen que en una secta acaban sacrificando a una chica virgen en adoración al ser maligno, esta chica siempre acaba siendo la más guapa. He aquí mi inspiración.

In the painting my main objective was the face, I wanted to achieve an extremely pale skin, and when I got more or less what I wanted, I put the makeup, this is run by her tears.
With the background I wanted to generate some contrast, I didn't want to make it dark because somehow I wanted there to be light, and this would give a more angelic aspect, that's why I made a kind of crown.
En la pintura mi objetivo principal era el rostro, quería lograr una piel extremadamente pálida, y cuando conseguí más o menos lo que quería, le puse el maquillaje, este se corre por sus lágrimas.
Con el fondo quería generar un poco de contraste, no quería que fuera oscuro porque de alguna manera quería que hubiera luz, y esto le daría un aspecto más angelical, por eso hice una especie de corona.

I'm getting used to using the krita paint splatter brush a lot, I really like the change it can give to my backgrounds, so here was no exception.
Me estoy acostumbrando a usar mucho el pincel de salpicaduras de pintura de krita, me gusta mucho el cambio que puede dar a mis fondos, así que aquí no fue una excepción.

For final details, I improved the lips, I finished the hair, since it is a dark colored hair it was not a big elaboration, I also added some shadows so that the back light effect was better. So my idea of a sacrificed girl ended up being a black virgin, I really liked the final result. I hope you guys do too.😁
Para los detalles finales, mejoré los labios, terminé el cabello, como es un cabello de color oscuro no fue una gran elaboración, también agregué algunas sombras para que el efecto de contraluz fuera mejor. Así que mi idea de chica sacrificada terminó siendo una virgen negra, me gustó mucho el resultado final. Espero que a ustedes también.😁
