Hello dear friends, welcome to a new art post.

Today I want to share with you a portrait that I made for a commission, at first impression it looks quite simple, but to tell the truth it has been one of the most difficult for me because of the palette of colors, since they are very saturated and varied between them it was complicated to have a good transition. Without more to say I share with you the process below.

Hola queridos amigos, bienvenidos a un nuevo post de arte.

Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un retrato que hice para un encargo, a primera impresión se ve bastante sencillo, pero a decir verdad ha sido uno de los más difíciles para mí por la paleta de colores, ya que al ser muy saturados y variados entre ellos fue complicado tener una buena transición. Sin más que decir les comparto el proceso a continuación.

I started with the sketch, the angle of the face was chosen by the client, this was a little complicated at first, and then I started to place my base colors, the skin of the character is yellow so I chose a fairly soft yellow tone to not saturate it so much.

Empecé con el boceto, el ángulo de la cara lo eligió el cliente, esto fue un poco complicado al principio, y después empecé a colocar mis colores base, la piel del personaje es amarilla por lo que elegí un tono amarillo bastante suave para no saturarla tanto.

To the client's taste I had to raise this skin tone, I achieved this using a layer with overlay fusion and some other filters. I continued working on the skin until I got a finish that I liked and then I continued with the hair.

A gusto del cliente tuve que subir este tono de piel, esto lo logre utilizando una capa con fusión de superposición y algunos otros filtros. Seguí trabajando en la piel hasta conseguir un acabado que me gustara y luego continué con el cabello.

As I said before it was a very simple portrait, I only had to add some leaves and her earrings, but in part her hair has a lot of colors, achieving that gradient took a few days. I'm happy with the final result, I'll share it with you now, until next time. :3

Como he dicho antes era un retrato muy sencillo, solo tuve que añadir unas hojas y sus pendientes, pero en parte su pelo tiene muchos colores, conseguir ese degradado me llevó unos cuantos días. Estoy feliz con el resultado final, ahora lo comparto con ustedes, hasta la próxima :3
