Hi hivers I hope you are feeling great and having a good week, I welcome you back to one of my art posts 😃.

Yesterday I got excited to draw something for me, I had time without having the desire or inspiration to illustrate something for me, if not I've been a little busy with commissions and things in general in my life. Have been great days, maybe more of rest than work, this month I could share a lot with my partner and I've felt quite happy, it has been a very special month :3. Anyway I deviate a little from the subject, returning to the illustration the truth is that I am happy with the result, I had some time without enjoying a drawing that was not a commission, I do not know if I force myself to change my style or just sometimes I do not find myself in what I do, but well sometimes you have to let things flow and already, this time I was inspired to make an angel or cherub, with a somewhat vintage color palette, I also took the opportunity to try new brushes of textures. And so ...! In order not to make the introduction longer, I want to share with you the process.

Hola hivers espero que se encuentren muy bien y que estén teniendo una buena semana, les doy la bienvenida nuevamente a uno de mis post de arte 😃

Ayer me entusiasmé a dibujar algo para mi, tenía tiempo sin tener ganas o inspiración para ilustrar algo para mi, si no que he estado un poco ocupada con encargos y cosas en general en mi vida. Han sido días geniales, quizás más de descanso que de trabajo, este mes he podido compartir mucho con mi pareja y me he sentido bastante feliz, ha sido un mes muy especial :3. ¡En fin! me desvío un poco del tema, volviendo a la ilustración la verdad que estoy contenta con el resultado, tenía tiempo sin disfrutar de un dibujo que no fuera un encargo, no sé si me fuerzo a cambiar mi estilo o simplemente a veces no me encuentro en lo que hago, pero bueno a veces hay que dejar que las cosas fluyan y ya, esta vez me he inspirado para hacer un angelito o querubín, con una paleta de colores un tanto vintage, además aproveche para probar nuevos pinceles de texturas. ¡Y así...! Para no hacer más larga la introducción, quiero compartir con ustedes el proceso.

I started with the sketch and the base colors, at first I had in mind to do something related to cupid, but I love making halos and well I have found several brushes with which I can have a help to create some, in this case the small decoration of eyes in the halo reminded me of the angels called thrones, so that's why I changed the whole idea and preferred to work more with golden tones instead of red.

Empecé con el boceto y los colores base, al principio tenía en mente hacer algo relacionado con cupido, pero me encanta hacer halos y bueno he encontrado varios pinceles con los que me puedo ayudar para crear algunos, en este caso la pequeña decoración de ojos en el halo me recordaba a los ángeles llamados tronos, así que por eso cambié toda la idea y preferí trabajar más con tonos dorados en vez de rojos.

Already having the colors with which I was going to work the skin I started mixing them together, this time I used a mixer with dry texture, I liked the finish but I think I like the one I usually use better, it's the good thing about digital you can go trying new things and then you see what works best for you. ;3

Ya teniendo los colores con los que iba a trabajar la piel empecé a mezclarlos entre sí, esta vez utilicé un mezclador con textura seca, me gustó el acabado pero creo que me gusta más el que uso habitualmente, es lo bueno de lo digital que puedes ir probando cosas nuevas y luego ves lo que mejor te funciona ;3

For the background if I chose a textured image, then modify the color by placing some brushstrokes on top with various shades of yellow and brown. I continued to do the hair and the wings.

In the end I was testing the light effects that I could get and giving final details. I also added some feathers and glitter, I thought it gave a more beautiful touch. Well this is the final result, I hope you like it.

Para el fondo si elegí una imagen con textura, luego modifique el color colocando encima unas pinceladas con varios tonos de amarillo y marrón. Continué haciendo el cabello y las alas.

Al final fui probando los efectos de luz que podía conseguir y dando los últimos detalles. También añadí algunas plumas y brillos, me pareció que le daba un toque más bonito. Bueno este es el resultado final, espero que les guste.
