Hey Hiver! Welcome to a new digital art post :3
Today I am very happy and satisfied with the result of this portrait and I wanted to dedicate it to Hive, mostly because the hexagons reminded me of a beehive and the expression of the girl's look that gives to understand that she feels admiration for this new world she has just discovered hehe, for this reason I called her Cybernetic Hive.
I share with you the process below

Hoy estoy muy feliz y satisfecha con el resultado de este retrato y quise dedicárselo a Hive, más que nada porque los hexágonos me recordaron a una colmena y la expresión de la mirada de la chica que da a entender que siente admiración por este nuevo mundo que acaba de descubrir jeje, por esta razón la llamé Cybernetic Hive.
Les comparto el proceso a continuación:

Some time ago I had seen this reference on pinterest (I'll leave it at the end), its appearance caught my attention, but I don't know why I had not dared to draw it until now. This illustration started like many others, with my typical phrase "this time I want to do something simple", and ends up being something else xD, I guess minimalism and I will never get along, but anyway after having the base sketch I started to paint.
Hace tiempo había visto esta referencia en pinterest (la dejaré al final), su aspecto me llamó la atención, pero no sé por qué no me había atrevido a dibujarla hasta ahora. Esta ilustración inició como muchas otras, con mi típica frase "esta vez quiero hacer algo sencillo", y termina siendo otra cosa xD, supongo que el minimalismo y yo nunca nos llevaremos bien, pero en fin después de tener el boceto base me puse a pintar.

This time I wanted to work with cold colors but at the same time vibrant, king blue is a very striking color, and that's why I wanted to work it on her hair. As I wanted to use this color palette I used warm tones for her skin, lately I love the finish that you can have with these tones, I must say that before it took me 4 to 6 layers to work the skin, as I usually mix the colors a lot because I don't know how to work with touches or another method, I have no patience for that xD, but I got the hang of it and I can get a good finish without so many layers.
Esta vez quise trabajar con colores fríos pero a la vez vibrantes, el azul rey es un color muy llamativo, y por eso quise trabajarlo en su cabello. Como quería usar esta paleta de colores usé tonos cálidos para su piel, últimamente me encanta el acabado que se puede tener con estos tonos, debo decir que antes me tomaba de 4 a 6 capas trabajar la piel, ya que suelo mezclar mucho los colores porque no sé trabajar con toques u otro método, no tengo paciencia para eso xD, pero ya le agarré el truco y puedo lograr un buen acabado sin tantas capas.

After finishing her face and most of the skin, I gave details to the lens and made the reliefs on her face. While I was doing all this it occurred to me to do a blackout tattoo and on top of it some hexagons as if it was white ink.
Something I like to do while painting is to try things for the background, and since I was using these hexagons for the tattoo, I started placing them in the background.
Después de terminar su cara y la mayor parte de la piel, di detalles a la lente e hice los relieves en su cara. Mientras hacía todo esto se me ocurrió hacer un blackout tattoo y encima algunos hexágonos como si fuese tinta blanca.
Algo que me gusta hacer mientras pinto es probar cosas para el fondo, y como estaba utilizando estos hexágonos para el tatuaje, empecé a colocarlos en el fondo.

To finish I placed other hexagons in front of her face as if they were holograms and finished some details, I added a glove because even though I dedicate a lot of time to other things, I'm really pissed that my hands and nails don't look good haha. As a final touch I put some mosaics as pixels, I've been doing this lately, but I like it hehe so I finish this process, until next time.
Para terminar coloqué otros hexágonos delante de su cara como si fueran hologramas y terminé algunos detalles, le añadí un guante porque aunque le dedique mucho tiempo a otras cosas, me jode mucho que no se me vean bien las manos y las uñas jaja. Como toque final le puse unos mosaicos como pixeles, he estado haciendo esto últimamente, pero me gusta jeje así que doy por terminado este proceso, hasta la próxima.
