Hi hivers, I hope you are very well, this week I have been quite inspired and I feel somewhat organized in my ideas thanks to someone special that motivated me to make a list of my ideas to draw, as I usually do many sketches in a day and in the end I abandon some and / or eliminate others hehe, well this time I wanted to make a portrait inspired by snakes so I got down to work for the realization of this, then I leave you with the process.

Hola hivers, espero que estén muy bien, esta semana he estado bastante inspirada y me siento algo organizada en mis ideas gracias a alguien en especial que me motivó a hacer una lista de mis ideas para dibujar, ya que suelo hacer muchos bocetos en un día y al final abandono algunos y/o elimino otros jeje, bueno esta vez quería hacer un retrato inspirado en serpientes así que me puse manos a la obra para la realización de este, a continuación les dejo con el proceso.

PROCESS - PROCESO

This drawing was quite short and simple, I decided to do it in grayscale and then give some touches of color with different shades of yellow and blue. As I had mentioned I wanted to do something with a snake, I had several things in mind, but I had little time so I just added the iris and a snake tattoo.

Este dibujo fue bastante corto y sencillo, decidí hacerlo en escala de grises y luego darle algunos toques de color con diferentes tonos de amarillo y azul. Como había mencionado que quería hacer algo con una serpiente, tenía varias cosas en mente, pero tenía poco tiempo así que sólo añadí el iris y un tatuaje de serpiente.

I took my time making the skin and eyes, the latter I did in gray and then with the color fusion layer I put mustard yellow, brown and some pastel yellow.

Me tomé mi tiempo para hacer la piel y los ojos, estos últimos los hice en gris y luego con la capa de fusión de color puse amarillo mostaza, marrón y algo de amarillo pastel.

I added texture to the skin as freckles in some areas, and then began to make the hair, placing their respective shading and lighting and then some texture, this time I did not want to make it so tousled, and I liked this result.

Le agregué textura a la piel como pecas en algunas zonas, y luego comencé a hacer el cabello, colocando su respectivo sombreado e iluminación y luego algo de textura, esta vez no quise hacerlo tan despeinado, y me gustó este resultado.

To unify everything I placed a shadow with grayish blue, and in the background I put a gradient with blue tones, and then place the final lights and make the snake on his neck.

Para unificar todo coloqué una sombra con azul grisáceo, y en el fondo puse un degradado con tonos azules, para luego colocar las luces finales y hacer la serpiente en su cuello.

I would say that what cost me the most this time was the snake, because I didn't know how to make it or what brush to use in Krita for this one, in the end I went for a soft brush and I didn't like the finish, but the illumination on it and the blur effect helped a lot, this is the final result, I hope you like it.

Diría que lo que más me costó esta vez fue la serpiente, porque no sabía cómo hacerla ni qué pincel usar en Krita para esta, al final me decidí por un pincel suave y no me gustó el acabado, pero la iluminación en ella y el efecto de desenfoque ayudaron mucho, este es el resultado final, espero que les guste.
