Hey people! Welcome to a new digital art post 😁.

I'm back to the routine that I like so much 😏, this post I think it will be a little different, mostly because I need to drain some things and although I'm someone who expresses very little, it does me good to write from time to time this kind of situations hehe. The truth is that this month of March has been a little chaotic, first I had problems with my internet, unfortunately they stole the connection cables of the service I had before, so I went to another company and it took them a while to come to install the service, then I was sick (I have already said it in other posts), which.... hahaha ...happens once a month xd, thanks to the fact that my defenses are not the best. In short it has been a month of many expenses and stress, this brought me a great artistic block, it's rare when it happens, because if I have had good ideas, but when I'm in front of the computer I go blank, I get distracted or it doesn't come out as I expect.

A few months ago @brataka gave me a mug to drink my coffee, it includes motivational phrases and very nice dedications hehe, I know! you may ask: What does this have to do with drawing? Well... Nothing. haha I just write it because I want to and I can xd.... But I really want to say that gifts like this motivate you to continue at all costs.

¡¡¡Hola gente!!! Bienvenidos a un nuevo post de arte digital 😁.

He vuelto a la rutina que tanto me gusta 😏, este post creo que será un poco diferente, más que nada porque necesito drenar algunas cosas y aunque soy alguien que se expresa muy poco, me hace bien escribir de vez en cuando este tipo de situaciones jeje. La verdad es que este mes de marzo ha sido un poco caótico, primero tuve problemas con mi internet, lamentablemente me robaron los cables de conexión del servicio que tenía antes, así que me fui a otra compañía y tardaron en venir a instalarme el servicio, luego estuve enferma (ya lo he dicho en otros post), lo cual.... jajaja ...pasa una vez al mes xd, gracias a que mis defensas no son las mejores. En fin ha sido un mes de muchos gastos y estrés, esto me trajo un gran bloqueo artístico, es raro cuando pasa, porque si he tenido buenas ideas, pero cuando estoy frente al ordenador me pongo en blanco, me distraigo o no me sale como espero.

Hace unos meses @brataka me regaló una taza para tomar mi cafecito, incluye frases motivadoras y dedicatorias muy bonitas jeje, ¡lo sé! se preguntarán: ¿Qué tiene que ver esto con dibujar? Pues... Nada. jaja simplemente lo escribo porque quiero y puedo xd.... Pero de verdad quiero decir que regalos como este te motivan a seguir a toda costa.

Well, well! I deviated a lot from the main topic, after getting out of some busy times, I decided to draw something monochromatic, I have been following Laura H. Rubin's (Instagram) work for a long time, I think many of us have been inspired by this girl. She usually handles a very monochromatic style in her portraits, and what I love about her work is how she usually makes the contrasts.

¡Bueno, bueno! Me desvié mucho del tema principal, después de salir de unos momentos de mucho ajetreo, decidí dibujar algo monocromático, sigo el trabajo de Laura H. Rubin (Instagram) desde hace mucho tiempo, creo que muchos nos hemos inspirado con esta chica. Ella suele manejar un estilo muy monocromático en sus retratos, y lo que me encanta de su trabajo es como suele hacer los contrastes.

After making the sketch, I placed the base colors, from a couple of weeks ago I downloaded this brush with textures, I had been wanting to use it for a while but it is a little difficult to mix colors with it so I waited to use it later. Today I dared to do it and I really liked the finish, the texture is incredible and it was good practice to play with this brush for a while.

Después de hacer el boceto, coloqué los colores base, desde hace un par de semanas descargué este pincel con texturas, llevaba tiempo queriendo usarlo pero es un poco difícil mezclar colores con él así que esperé a usarlo más adelante. Hoy me he atrevido a hacerlo y me ha gustado mucho el acabado, la textura es increíble y ha sido una buena práctica jugar un rato con este pincel.
