My first year at hive - Compilation of illustrations

Hello people!
Today I realized that I already have a year in the hive blockchain. I am grateful to my friend @roadstories, because thanks to him I am writing these words here right now, because he is the reason why I met hive. When I started on the platform I did not have so much knowledge of digital art, but I started to illustrate, so today I want to share a compilation of some of my illustrations and the progress I've had since I'm on the platform, and above all give thanks for all the good and bad things I've learned with this.

Hoy me he dado cuenta de que ya tengo un año en la blockchain de hive. Agradezco a mi amigo @roadstories, porque gracias a él estoy escribiendo estas palabras aquí ahora mismo, porque por él conocí hive. Cuando empecé en la plataforma no tenía tantos conocimientos de arte digital, pero empecé a ilustrar, así que hoy quiero compartir una recopilación de algunas de mis ilustraciones y el progreso que he tenido desde que estoy en la plataforma, y sobre todo dar gracias por todo lo bueno y lo malo que he aprendido con esto.
These four illustrations were among the first I did. Looking closely and detailing these old images I think I can say that I abused a lot the airbrush and they ended up looking blurry, this because I didn't know how to mix the colors and the airbrush was very good for it.
At first I was illustrating from my cell phone, with the Sketchbook application, it was a little uncomfortable because the screen of a note 8 is not so big and drawing with the index finger was complicated, but I was adapting to what I had at my disposal, for a while I was working that way, until I was recommended to buy a digitizer tablet. So I gathered for this hehe and I bought a huion h430p, yayy! there I began to see my improvements, still drawing from the phone but it was a little better.
Estas cuatro ilustraciones fueron de las primeras que hice. Mirando de cerca y detallando estas viejas imágenes creo que puedo decir que abusé mucho del aerógrafo y terminaron viéndose borrosas, esto porque no sabía mezclar los colores y el aerógrafo era muy bueno para ello.
Al principio ilustraba desde el celular, con la aplicación Sketchbook, era un poco incómodo porque la pantalla de un note 8 no es tan grande y dibujar con el dedo índice era complicado, pero me fui adaptando a lo que tenía a mi disposición, por un tiempo estuve trabajando así, hasta que me recomendaron comprar una tableta digitalizadora. Así que me junté para esto jeje y me compré una huion h430p, ¡yayy! ahí empecé a ver mis mejoras, seguía dibujando desde el teléfono pero era un poco mejor.

I did both illustrations to participate in the Splinterlands weekly contest, for me it was a thrill to win for the second time with the fusion I did between two characters of that game, I used a lot of line art and little by little I was leaving it. Around this time I remember that my digitizer tablet was damaged for the first time, but I was able to repair it at that time, then I had problems with it again so I had to change it.
Some time later I was saving for a computer and I changed to a digitizer tablet with better precision and a little more comfortable (a huion h1060p), I have always said that the tools do not make the artist, since an artist can capture his ideas in any way, but they are a great help and you can see a big difference in the quality of the work.
Ambas ilustraciones las hice para participar en el concurso semanal de Splinterlands, para mi fue una emoción ganar por segunda vez con la fusión que hice entre dos personajes de ese juego, utilicé mucho el line art y poco a poco lo fui dejando. Por esta época recuerdo que mi tableta digitalizadora se dañó por primera vez, pero pude repararla en ese momento, luego volví a tener problemas con ella por lo que tuve que cambiarla.
Tiempo después estaba ahorrando para un ordenador y me cambié a una tableta digitalizadora con mejor precisión y un poco más cómoda (una huion h1060p), siempre he dicho que las herramientas no hacen al artista, ya que un artista puede plasmar sus ideas de cualquier manera, pero son una gran ayuda y se nota una gran diferencia en la calidad del trabajo.

I could say that my experience here during this first year was very good so twice I took the trouble to invite two of my best friends: @apple.black02 and @kojart, which are also important in my progress as an artist, they are great people who support me a lot in any craziness hehe.

Consistency has helped me to improve and I have also followed some advice from my friends. In the course of all this time I have been given the opportunity to meet great people and good digital artists such as: @brataka, @deadsparrow, @feather.art, @ragaroot, @chopiliart.

Currently Braty has become a very special person for me, we managed to meet in person since the difference between cities is three hours, and we can also say that he has been one of the best influences, both personally and artistically, he is one of those people who motivate you to grow day by day and gives you his support without any condition.

You've grown so much in one year! The earlier pieces look very good to me (like you said, the tools don't make the artist), and your more recent works are amazing also.
It's great you got to meet Brataka! That must have been a fulfilling experience, especially considering the travel time.
