Happy weekend my dear hivers, welcome back, all this week I've been thinking a lot about Norse mythology and Vikings, this mostly because of a commission work, but I decided to take a break and draw freely in my own way, still something came up with that theme 😂. That's how things flow from time to time, I was delighted with the result and I think it was worth my sleepless night. Without further ado, I share with you the process.
Feliz fin de semana mis queridos hivers, bienvenidos de nuevo, toda esta semana he estado pensando mucho en la mitología nórdica y los vikingos, esto más que nada por un trabajo de encargo, pero decidí tomarme un descanso y dibujar libremente a mi manera, igual algo surgió con ese tema 😂. Así es como fluyen las cosas de vez en cuando, quedé encantado con el resultado y creo que valió la pena mi noche de insomnio. Sin más rodeos, comparto con ustedes el proceso.
PROCESS - PROCESO
I chose this model because I loved her eyes, at the beginning of the illustration I took the most time to do these and then the rest of her face.
Elegí esta modelo porque me encantaron sus ojos, al principio de la ilustración me tomé el mayor tiempo para hacer estos y luego el resto de su cara.
Then I went on to do her hair, placing the base color and adding the respective shadows and highlights. In the course of the elaboration I thought about adding some Viking runes to this style of makeup, but then I thought that making it simple would be just as nice.
Then I went on to make the branches in her hair and on her arms, I wanted to give the illusion that they were embedded in her skin, I don't think I succeeded, so another time I will try another way.
Luego pasé a hacer su cabello, colocando el color base y añadiendo las respectivas sombras y luces. En el transcurso de la elaboración pensé en añadir algunas runas vikingas a este estilo de maquillaje, pero luego pensé que hacerlo simple sería igual de bonito.
Luego pasé a hacer las ramas en el cabello y en los brazos, quería dar la ilusión de que estaban incrustadas en su piel, creo que no lo logré, así que en otra ocasión lo intentaré de otra manera.
To finish I added some leaves and to the background I decided to just add a color gradient and some stains. This is the final result, I hope you like it.
Para terminar añadí unas hojas y al fondo decidí añadir simplemente un degradado de color y algunas manchas. Este es el resultado final, espero que les guste.
