Hello hivers! Welcome to a new art post.

Lately I've been working on some things that have been causing me a huge stress hehe, so I wanted to make an illustration to release this, I usually keep an eye on the details and in this case I just wanted to make random strokes, without paying much attention to certain things in the illustration.

I couldn't keep much of the process, I was just going around and trying to mix the colors, I liked to see the texture as if it was a traditional painting as this was my only intention when I was working on it.

I hope you like it.

¡Hola hivers!

I love the headpiece. Those artificial halos in drawings always draw the eye in,

They were used in loooots and lots of paintings, mainly to depict saints / "blessed ones" but in general, it is a great way to separate the subject from their background.

It also looks really cool. One of my favourite paintings that uses this (but in the more literal sense) is by Paul Delaroche, and is called "The Young Martyr"

I believe it is inspired from a bible story, but its such a beautiful and moving painting, with the figures stumbling across her in the background, and the halo being a light source for the floating figure.
