What party, event or celebration have you attended or held that wasn't very good or enjoyable. What went wrong and why, how long did you stay and what excuses did you give for leaving early.
Two days ago, my friend Samuel had a birthday celebration, he Invited me and I was there, I went there and I was early since he is such a good friend of mine.
I never wanted to delay or be late of any kind, when I arrive at his house, I saw his wife and children, the children run to me and gave me a hug and I carry his last born God'swill since he is the small man among them, although all his children's wanted me to carry them up, as they keep saying "uncle uncle carry me up".
I went ahead and I shake my friend Samuel and I also send greetings to his wife, Angela.
Before I could knew more people start coming and this time it was his friends from work (colleagues) they were three in number, Samuel wanted to had a nice and a house birthday party, that was Why he invite few people and those ones that are important to him and which value him too.
But something were not right about it, one of his colleagues happens to be a car owner, I know of them also has a car but his own was a new car.
Then since the time he arrives he even forgot about the agenda on the ground which was Samuel's birthday, he keep praising himself by saying how he got a beautiful brand new car.
When he said it the first time, I thought it was a kind of happiness that maybe he got and is okay if he expressed himself the way he want to, but what makes it worse was that, he keeps saying it and saying it and saying it till everyone were tired of hearing his Brand New car story, to me, he make the room to be unfavorable for everyboy.
I really felt it as it was a kind of insult to me, as he says everyone here has a car, is only me that does not has a car, I was really humiliated but I control my peace.
For the sake of Samuel I let it slide, his wife brought out, the sumptuous delicacy she prepare, we ate it and Samuel cut the cake, everyone wishes him a happy birthday and Samuel make a wish for himself and we all said, so shall it be.
With that I was not myself I was really ashamed and I had to leave as soon as Samuel finished making a wish.
