Art Style Challenge | Chapter 5 | 🟡The Simpsons 🟡

I decided to do the "Art Style Challenge" after a long time, it was a challenge that I saw many artists doing, including my favorites, but I never had the courage to do it. This challenge consists of making a drawing, it can be of some original character or any other drawing, in different art styles. These drawing styles can be taken from animated series, anime, different artists' own styles or others, the goal is to recreate different art styles and see how different your art looks in those styles.

Decidí hacer el "Art Style Challange" después de bastante tiempo, era un reto que veía hacer a muchos artistas, incluidos mis preferidos, pero nunca tuve el atrevimiento para hacerlo. Este reto consiste en hacer un dibujo, puede ser de algún personaje original o cualquier otro dibujo, en diferentes estilos de arte. Estos estilos de dibujo pueden ser tomados de series animadas, animes, estilos propios de diferentes artistas o demás, lo que se busca es recrear diferentes estilos de arte y ver que tan diferente se ve tu arte en esos estilos.

Hello beautiful people! I hope you're all doing great and if you're not, you will be soon! This time I come with a new drawing for this incredible challenge, which I had abandoned for a few days, but I'm back again with a drawing style that is so representative and visually known everywhere, I'm talking about the Simpsons style. Who doesn't know this family?

Hola gente bonita! Espero estén super bien todos y si no lo están, pronto lo estarán! Esta vez vengo con un nuevo dibujo para este increíble reto, el cual había abandonado unos días, pero que retome nuevamente con un estilo de dibujo que es tan representativo y conocido visualmente en todos lados, les hablo del estilo de los Simpsons. Quien no conoce esta familia?

I took the shared image as a reference to build what would become my character in that style, although I was also looking at other references on Pinterest, so I could have a broader view of this characteristic style.

Tome como referencia la imagen compartida para armar lo que vendría siendo mi personaje en ese estilo, aunque también estuve viendo otras referencias por Pinterest, para así tener un visión más amplia sobre este estilo tan característico.

I struggled a bit making the hair, since I couldn't find a way to integrate my character's hair in that style. I was looking at a lot of references, about many of the characters that appear in the series so I could structure a good hair and I think it wasn't too bad, in my opinion.

Batalle un poco haciendo el cabello, ya que no hallaba la forma de integrar el cabello de mi personaje en ese estilo. Estuve viendo muchas referencias, sobre muchos de los personajes que aparecen en la serie y así poder estructurar un buen cabello y creo que no quedo tan mal, a mi parecer.

The rest was just adding the color throughout the drawing and for the color palette I used, it is the original of my character, but all the work was done taking into account the main style. It was obvious that the skin of my character had to be in that super vibrant yellow and so characteristic of The Simpsons.

Lo demás solo fue agregar el color en todo el dibujo y para la paleta de color que use, es la original de mi personaje, pero todo el trabajo lo hice tomando en cuanta el estilo principal. Era obvio que la piel de mi personaje tenia que ser en ese amarillo super vibrante y tan característico de Los Simpsons.
