El día de hoy estoy muy emocionado, ya que vengo a participar en el concurso de arte que hace cada semana @Splinterlands con mi primer dibujo digital para dicho concurso. Escogí para dibujar a Lunakari Mistress, ya que se me hizo muy hermosa y ademas que es una mujer, lo cual es algo que me encanta dibujar, así que bueno.

I started making the sketch, which didn't take me long to finish, since as you know, I draw mostly portraits and this was not going to be the exception. I wanted to add a hand to the portrait, since in the original drawing it is what called my attention the most. Once I had a first sketch, I added a new layer and cleaned up the sketch, in order to have a better view of the sketch.

Comencé haciendo el boceto, el cual no me tomo muco tiempo en terminar, ya que como ustedes saben, dibujo mas que todo retratos y este no iba ser la excepción. Quise agregarle una mano al retrato, ya que en el dibujo original es lo que mas llamaba mi atención. Una vez que tuve un primer boceto, agregue una capa nueva y limpie el boceto, para así tener una vista mejor del boceto.

I started to paint the drawing with a color palette that I searched on the internet and that I found beautiful for the skin work on this character. I added little by little details in the eyes, mouth and nose with a base of light red and then I increased the intensity of it as I saw fit. At this point, I had an endless number of layers made for each thing, for me it was better to work that way, since I didn't get lost so much with the color work on the face. I added some freckles and moles on the face, because it's something I love my drawings to have and it makes them look more tender, in a way, since this character at first sight doesn't look so tender because of the tears of blood I added.

Comencé a pintar el dibujo con una paleta de color que busque en internet y que me pareció hermosa para el trabajo de piel en este personaje. Fui agregando poco a poco detalles en los ojos, boca y nariz con una base de roja claro y luego iba aumentando la intensidad del mismo a mi parecer y conveniencia. Para este punto, tenia un sin fin de capas hechas para cada cosa, para mi fue mejor trabajar de esa forma, ya que así no me perdía tanto con el trabajo de color en el rostro. Agregue algunas pecas y lunares en la cara, porque es algo que me encanta que tengan mis dibujos y los hace ver mas tiernos, en cierto modo, ya que este personaje a primera vista no luce tan tierno por las lagrimas de sangre que le agregue.

At this point I must say that I only used two brushes to make the illustration, I didn't feel the need to use thousands of brushes to work, but I think that with time I will increase my brushes or not? Luego de haber estado trabajando la cara por un muy buen rato, me fui a agregar un nueva capa para la mano, ya que tenia pensado desde un principio agregar sangre en todo el personaje, así que después de la cara sangrienta, proseguía la mano. A este punto debo decir que solo use dos pinceles para hacer la ilustración, no sentí la necesidad de usar miles de pinceles para trabajar, pero creo que con el tiempo iré aumentando mis pinceles o no? Quien sabe? jajaja Lo importante es seguir explorando las herramienta de mi programa, el cual es "Krita".

Lastly I did the hair, which I didn't detail so much, because I didn't think it was necessary since my style of drawing is not so realistic. I added some final details, like line art in some areas of the drawing, where I felt it was necessary to define a little bit with it. Some shadows, white details and nothing else really, that was all. The truth is that the final result has enchanted me too much, simply the digital has me very excited, since I started drawing in digital, I have not stopped, which is good, because this way I will be practicing and getting to know more about this new world.

Por ultimo hice el cabello, el cual no lo detalle tanto, ya que a mi parecer no era necesario ya que mi estilo de dibujo no es tan realista la verdad. Agregue algunos detalles finales, como line art en algunas zonas del dibujo, donde sentía que era necesario definir un poco con el mismo. Algunas sombras, detalles en blanco y no mas la verdad, eso fue todo. La verdad que el resultado final me ha encantado demasiado, simplemente el digital me tiene muy enviciado, ya que desde que comencé a dibujar en digital, no he parado, lo cual es bueno, porque así iré practicando y conociendo más este nuevo mundo.
