The village folk always say that Tarsa was born with fire in her blood, and that is true in many ways. Her burning rage and quick temper are amplified by her powers to summon and control fire. While her parents and teachers tried to instill patience for such dangerous magic, Tarsa had little time for that. She used her abilities to bully and threaten those that got in her way.
Her young and innocent-looking appearance only helped her to further manipulate people around her. “Tarsa always gets what Tarsa wants” is what she says to herself every time something or someone challenges her.
When the Chaos Legion arrived, Tarsa saw this as an opportunity to have free reign of her fire power without interference from anyone else. So long as the Chaos Legion opens the path for her, she can burn everything else to the ground. Link
La gente del pueblo siempre dice que Tarsa nació con fuego en la sangre, y es cierto en muchos sentidos. Hello beautiful people! I hope you're all doing great and if you're not, you will be soon! I'm here to share my entry for this week's @Splinterlands art contest. The character or the card I took as reference this time, was Tarsa, which I found interesting to do, since the character as such does not have much relevance, but it had something in itself that caught me, so I had to do it in my style.
Hola gente bonita! Espero estén super bien todos y si no lo están, pronto lo estarán! Vengo a compartir mi participacion para el concurso de arte de @Splinterlands de esta semana. El personaje o la carta que tomo como referencia esta vez, fue la de Tarsa, la cual se me hizo interesante de hacer, ya que el personaje como tal no tiene mucha relevancia, pero tuvo algo en sí misma que me atrapo, así que la tenia que hacer a mi estilo.
I started making the sketch, taking as a reference the pose of a model that I saw on Pinterest and I thought it was great to use it and make my version of Tarsa with it. The sketch went through many improvements and arrangements, because I not only wanted to keep or make her the same clothes that you see in the original character, but I wanted to change some things, so I was making the sketch for a long time. I looked for references on the internet for clothes and hair, until I had a final sketch that I liked.
Comencé haciendo el boceto, tomando como referencia la pose de una modelo que vi por Pinterest y se me hizo buenísima para usarla y hacer mi versión de Tarsa con ella. El boceto paso por muchas mejorías y arreglos, ya que no solo quería quedarme o hacerle la misma ropa que se ve en el personaje original, sino cambiarle mucho algunas cosas, entonces si estuve haciendo el boceto por largo tiempo. Busque referencias en internet de ropa y cabello, hasta tener un boceto final que me gustara.

After I had the final sketch finished and worked with its line art, I started to add the base color in the whole character. After placing the base color, I was looking at the sketch again and wanted to change the hair and certain details to it, so I had to rework the whole sketch, line art and certain elements in the drawing, that's why you see a sketch with a line art first and then a different one with color.
Luego que tuve el boceto final terminado y trabajado con su line art, comencé a agregar el color base en todo el personaje. Colocando el color base, me quede viendo el boceto nuevamente y quise cambiarle el cabello y ciertos detalles al mismo, así que tuve que volver a trabajar todo el boceto, line art y ciertos elementos en el dibujo, por eso se ve un boceto con un line art primero y luego otro diferente ya con color.

After I made that small change, I added the base color and started working on all the color. I used the same color palette that we can see in the original character, changing it to how I would use those colors in my style. It is a color palette that I took it more to gray tones, which is what I really like. I kept adding shadows and details to the drawing, until I had the whole illustration finished. The last thing I did was to add some details in the background, so it didn't look so empty and I also added that characteristic fire in the original character, only I added it very subtle and not so saturated. That's all folks!
Luego que hice ese pequeño cambio, agregue el color base y comencé a trabajar todo el color. Use la misma paleta de color que podemos ver en el personaje original, cambiándola a como yo usaría dichos colores en mi estilo. Es una paleta de color que la lleve mas a tonos grises, que es lo que a mi me gusta realmente. Fui agregando sombras y detalles al dibujo, hasta que tuve toda la ilustración terminada. Lo ultimo que hice fue agregar algunos detalles en el fondo, para que no se viera tan vació y también agregue ese fuego característico en el personaje original, solo que yo lo agregue muy sutil y no tan saturado. Eso es todo amigos!
