Hello beautiful people! I hope you're all doing great and if you're not, you will be soon! I participate again in the art contest by @Splinterlands and for this, I chose the Twisted Jester card, as he is one of my favorite characters in the game, I just love it.

I started making the sketch, taking the original character as a reference. I had been seeing illustrations of other artists, where they worked in the creation and realization of stickers and I really liked the way they worked, making the drawing look more aesthetic, despite being "simple", so I took as inspiration these works to make my character.

Comencé haciendo el boceto, tomando como referencia al personaje original. Había estado viendo ilustraciones de otros artistas, en donde trabajaban en la creación y realización de stickers y realmente me gusto la forma en que trabajaban, haciendo ver el dibujo mas estético, a pesar de ser "sencillo", así que tome como inspiración estos trabajos para hacer mi personaje.

I didn't add arms to the sketch, I just added a hand, as I felt it would look good, so I could also integrate that green hand that we can see in the original drawing. When I had the sketch ready, what I did was to add a new layer to start doing the line art, which is something I enjoy doing so much. I used the digital illustration program ClipStudioPaint to work on this illustration.

Al boceto no le hice brazos, solo agregue una mano, ya que sentía que le quedaría bien, así también podría integrar esa mano verde que podemos ver en el dibujo original. Cuando tuve el boceto listo, lo que hice fue agregar una nueva capa para comenzar a hacer el line art, que es algo que disfruto tanto hacer. Use el programa de ilustración digital ClipStudioPaint para trabajar en esta ilustración.

After finishing with the line art, I start working on the color. To do this, I start by adding a base color throughout the illustration, using a light grayish purple or violet. I then add the other colors in the respective areas of the character. I take as color palette, the original color palette of the chart, so I don't go out of the reference itself.

Luego de terminar con el line art, comienzo a trabajar el color. Para ello, comienzo agregando un color base en toda la ilustración, usando un morado o violeta claro grisáceo. Paso seguidamente a agregar los demás colores en las zonas respectivas del personaje. Tome como paleta de color, la original de la carta, para así no salirme de la referencia en sí.

I worked very calmly, using marker brushes, watercolors and paint mixers throughout the illustration. Adjusting from time to time the colors from time to time. I really liked this drawing, I think it was because of the way I painted it. Without a doubt, one of my favorites.

Todo lo fui trabajando muy tranquilamente la verdad, usando pinceles de marcador, acuarelas y mezcladores de pintura en toda la ilustración. Ajustando de vez en cuando los colores cada cierto tiempo. La verdad me gusto mucho este dibujo, creo que fue por la forma en como lo pinte. Sin duda, uno de mis favoritos.
