Fedde Le Grand is undoubtedly one of the great figures who helped electronic music grow to the massive levels we know today. In the early 1990s, electro records became mainstream as artists such as David Guetta, Eric Prydz, Joey Negro, Axwell and Benny Benassi gained radio exposure with hits such as "Feel The Vibe" and "Call On". "I" and "satisfaction." Another big hit that accelerated the electronic music revival is Fedde Le Grand's "Hands Up Detroit", released on June 26, 2006.

That summer, the northern hemisphere hosted the World Cup in Germany, with stars like David Beckham, Ronaldo and Zinedine Zidane, and radio stations were filled with hits like Maneater by Nelly Furtado. It was during this period that Fedde Le Grand's now classic work saw the light of day and received wide distribution. This was mainly due to an official video of several robotic workers successfully "cheating the system" on a factory production line. One of De Lab's "clones" was seduced by a seductive doctor who danced in her underwear.

Released on the British record label Ministry of Sound, the song quickly became one of the hit songs of the decade and helped spark the EDM phenomenon that later swept the world. Fedde Le Grand will always be considered a legend and "Put Your Hands On Detroit" will always be a true classic. 15 years have passed since its launch and we celebrate it with all our hearts.

The video was directed by Marcus Adams. Here we see a science laboratory in Detroit, where some gynoids (Aimy Bramall, Emma Wharton, Lauren Ridealch and Angelique Mariano) are creating androids (Arran García). The video is available in two versions: regular and extended. Each android created goes through the destruction of the Gynoid to see how it reacts. The first is a short circuit and the second is attracted to the chief scientist (Ped Le Grand), who refuses to hand over the stripper. The third android works correctly, but when he realizes that he is a robot instead of a human, he escapes and shuts down the system, shutting down the gynoid and himself.
