In the town called Villaverde, a meeting is held in the town hall to discuss important issues related to the future of the place. In that room, the municipal councilors and the mayor are gathered, to discuss and present ideas that could improve the quality of life of the town.
One of the main topics to be discussed was the implementation of ecological policies that would help preserve the environment and make the town a more sustainable place. And at this point the main ecological policy proposal was presented by the town's students.
Carla, one of the student leaders, read the proposed law at the meeting, in her reading she proposed to work on waste separation and create a garbage recycling company, promote the use of renewable energies, encourage public transportation and encourage tree planting projects in public spaces. The room was filled with applause and looks of surprise, as the proposal was not only novel, but also extremely necessary.
However, some of the councilors were not convinced to include ecological policy in the main agenda. They preferred to focus their efforts on economic policies that would supposedly help the people grow. But one of the councilors, aware of the importance of preserving the environment for the future of Villaverde, decided to take the floor and support the young people's proposal.
While the councilor supported the proposal, outside the mayor's office, a group of students had mobilized to support the proposal. They carried banners and chanted slogans in favor of the environment, unaware that inside the room, the decision had already been practically made.
When they heard the news that their proposal had been included, the kids celebrated with joy and enthusiasm. They knew that their struggle and effort had been worthwhile, and that they had succeeded in influencing the decision making of the politicians.

En el pueblo llamado Villaverde, se realiza una reunión en la alcaldía para discutir asuntos importantes relacionados con el futuro del lugar. En aquella sala, los consejeros municipales y el alcalde están reunidos, para debatir y presentar ideas que pudieran mejorar la calidad de vida de la ciudad.
Uno de los temas principales a discutir era la implementación de políticas ecológicas que ayudaran a preservar el medio ambiente y hacer del pueblo un lugar más sostenible. Y en este punto la principal propuesta de política ecológica, fue presentada por los estudiantes del pueblo.
Carla una de las líderes estudiantiles, leyó la propuesta de ley en la reunión, en su lectura proponía, trabajar en la separación de residuos y crear una empresa de reciclaje de la basura, promocionar el uso de energías renovables, fomentar el transporte público e incentivar proyectos de plantación de árboles en espacios públicos. La sala se llenó de aplausos y miradas de sorpresa, pues la propuesta no solo era novedosa, sino también sumamente necesaria.
Sin embargo, algunos de los consejeros no estaban convencidos de incluir la política ecológica en la agenda principal. Preferían centrar sus esfuerzos en políticas económicas que supuestamente ayudarían al crecimiento del pueblo. Pero uno de los consejeros, consciente de la importancia de preservar el medio ambiente para el futuro de Villaverde, decidió tomar la palabra y respaldar la propuesta de los jóvenes.
Mientras el consejero apoyaba la propuesta, en la parte de afuera de la alcaldía, un grupo de estudiantes se había movilizado para apoyar la propuesta. Portaban pancartas y coreaban consignas en favor del medio ambiente, sin saber que dentro de la sala, la decisión ya estaba prácticamente tomada.
Cuando supieron la noticia de que su propuesta había sido incluida, los chicos celebraron con alegría y entusiasmo. Sabían que su lucha y esfuerzo habían valido la pena, y que habían logrado influir en la toma de decisiones de los políticos.
