Carlos looked at his wife, they had argued very loudly about what they wanted to do with the money they had received as part of Carlos' grandfather's inheritance. Mariana wanted to fix up the farm, put in a new kitchen, remodel the bathrooms and update and modernize their equipment in the house and keep some of the money in the bank.

Carlos, on the other hand, was thinking about the business, how to produce more and how to make the farm, he had gone through some very hard years, but he had recently managed to pay off the mortgage he had on his land, so without the obligation to make payments, they were much more comfortable financially.

Seeing the production of the farm and realizing that it was profitable, he had thought of buying the land of a neighbor who wanted to sell and thus make an extension of his farm, and produce in addition to grains, pork and fish in ponds, which would allow him to generate a greater amount of products and have more benefits.

In addition, Carlos knows that with the economic crisis, having money in the bank is not a good business at this time. As for Mariana, he knew that she would be upset, but Carlos was clear that the extension of the business would give them benefits in the medium and long term, while the arrangement of the house would only give him expenses and a good view.

Finally, when he spoke to Mariana, she asked him what he had decided to do. Carlos told her, let's do the extension and produce more and then with the profit I will fix up the house for you. And before Mariana could complain, Carlos told her in a clear way, "House does not give us business, but our business will give us a good and beautiful house!
