Antes que nada cordiales saludos a los miembros de la comunidad de Hive, que leyeron mi primer post y apoyaron a mi familia en esta situación con lo que pudieron.

Como bien saben, (los que leyeron mi primer post) Richard sufrió un coma diabético y una insuficiencia renal, la cual se vio agravada por la falta de atención y el maltrato que recibió en el Hospital Militar de Caracas.

Esto nos llevó a sacarlo de ahí y trasladarlo de emergencia al hospital de Coche en Caracas, donde después de dos horas de atención, decidieron pasarlo a terapia intensiva. Para ese momento, nos daban un 50% de probabilidad de que sobreviviera.

Eso sucedió el día miércoles, 21 de septiembre del 2022. Ahora bien, una vez que lo hospitalizaron, nos pidieron una serie de exámenes, medicamentos e insumos, que no teníamos capacidad de pagar, por lo que nos vimos en la necesidad de hablar con amigos y familiares, para recaudar fondos. Sumado a una campaña por las redes que inició mi sobrina, para poder conseguir el dinero. Después de mi sobrina, tomé su idea e hice un post en la red de Hive.

Gracias a ese aporte que realizaron, familiares, amigos y personas no conocidas, pero de buen corazón, se pudo pagar la ambulancia y hacer la resonancia magnética que se necesitaba realizar con urgencia para descartar daño cerebral, además de realizar otros exámenes urgentes para poder definir el tratamiento a realizar a mi hermano, por lo cual les estamos muy agradecidos.

Thanks to this contribution made by family, friends and people not known, but with a good heart, we were able to pay for the ambulance and make the MRI that was urgently needed to rule out brain damage, in addition to other urgent tests to define the treatment to be performed to my brother, for which we are very grateful.

También con parte de ese dinero, hemos cubierto otros gastos como la realización de un examen que hay que hacerle inter diario, el cual tiene un costo de 15 $ y hemos podido cubrir la compra de algunos insumos, como pañales, centros de cama, tubos de ensayo y medicamentos, razón por la cual les estamos realmente agradecidos.

Richard despertó del coma, el día sábado 24 de septiembre, cerca de las once de la mañana, aún se encuentra en estado crítico, está muy hinchado, tiene retención de líquido y tiene la garganta y la traquea muy inflamada, imaginamos que por el maltrato de los tubos que tenía colocados para poder respirar. Hasta los momentos no ha podido hablar, solo ha emitido sonidos guturales y está realmente débil.

El día de ayer, 29 de septiembre, Richard empeoró mucho y nos dio un gran susto.
