Daniela, was walking towards the top of the mountain, she was enjoying the road and its beauty, her eyes were happily distracted by the green colour of the mountains, the blue sky and the white clouds that could be seen on the horizon. Finally, she stopped and thanked life, because at that moment, she watched as a rainbow appeared in the middle of the two mountains, whose beauty had been pleasing her sight for a while.
She had climbed the mountain to be alone and clear her mind, since she was going through a very difficult situation, and whenever a problem presented itself in life, she followed her grandfather's advice, which was to get away from the problem physically and mentally in order to see reality clearly. His grandfather always told him, ‘There will be times when you feel that a problem is drowning you, but if you get away from it, and look at it from the outside, you will see many times, that the lake that you thought, that had so much water to drown you, is nothing more than a small well, through which you can walk.’
Daniela, she always did that advice that her grandfather gave her, she always distanced herself, mentally and physically, from the problems she had and saw them with a very different vision than when she was inside the problem. But now, no matter what she did, she didn't see a way out of her problem, and she was also afraid that she wouldn't be able to give an adequate answer to her situation. And for more, the only two people who always served as support and support in her life, were no longer with her, since both her mother and grandfather had died.
Daniela saw the city, sitting on a huge stone at the top of the mountain. She was alone, but she didn't feel that way, she felt full and fulfilled, she enjoyed the vision she had of the mountains, the rainbow, the clouds, the flowers and the vision of some people who were doing the walk, which she did to get there.
Her mind was going to the meeting she had the day before, it was a Friday and the company's board called her urgently, there were serious economic problems, since her main client, could not make purchases from the company, due to the economic sanctions that had been generated by political problems against her country, however, the company, had placed a huge order for that company, running out of resources, only with the merchandise, which was too much, for the rest of its customers.
As he had been informed, it was almost impossible for his company to survive this current situation. At that meeting, several situations were presented and how to deal with them, there were discussed the closure, the bankruptcy of the company, the operation with the minimum staff, the possibility of requesting loans to solve debts and stay open with all the staff and many other things.
But the most realistic options were to declare bankruptcy and close down, or to lay off the largest number of workers, pay off all debts and stay working with the minimum staff, while the situation was solved and the largest customers who were abroad were recovered.
Daniela was crying, seeing that all her work and all her achievements were hanging by a thread and for political reasons, which had nothing to do with her work, her efforts, her achievements and her mistakes. Her future, and that of her workers, depended on politics, and that disgusted her. In the midst of her crying, generated by the frustration of the moment, Daniela touched the ring that her mother gave her, and she felt a chill first and then an enormous tranquillity, remembering what her mother said when she handed her the ring.
—Hi Daniela, happy birthday. My daughter, I have a very special gift for you. —Said Gloria, Daniela's mother.

Gloria, after the hug of her daughter, took a small box out of her pocket, and gave it to Daniela, who opened it with a lot of affection, intrigue and speed, since she was excited about what was the very special gift that her mother was going to give her. When she opened the little box, Daniela saw a silver ring, similar to graduation rings, only the top was flat and had the image of a woman, and on the sides of the ring there were some letters.
Daniela saw her mother with curiosity and asked her. What does the ring mean, Mom?

And it will always be this way, since life is dynamic, and it is in those changes that are generated in life, that one learns and matures, grows and strengthens. That's why I placed the letters of that phrase in the ‘TCTENE’ ring, so that you always remember it and don't cling to the past, so that unhappiness doesn't take over your life. —

Gloria, with a beautiful smile, said to her daughter, the second sentence says; "Adapt to change, don't let ego and attachment control you.’’ —You must adapt to the changes Daniela, you must learn from each of the experiences that life gives you, you must learn to see the teachings that every moment, every person, every book, every job, every trip, every landscape, every love, every heartbreak, every joy, every sadness gives you. You must learn, but you must never become attached to the past, and you must avoid being controlled by the ego, so you will avoid hatred, suffering and fear of life. Life is the greatest gift that God gives us Daniela, but what we do in it, is only our decision, by free will. That's why I'm giving you this gift, so that it can be a tool to help you in the strongest moments of your life. Daniela looked at her ring, realized that the gifts from her mother and grandfather, gave her the keys to overcome what was happening. She decided to continue with the company at a minimum without debts, waiting to see if the political reality would change. He gave benefits and support to all his former workers and promised to hire them as the situation improved.
Daniela learned from her mistakes and her achievements, and although she lost her economic status and the strength of her company, she remained happy and continued to enjoy life, facing the reality of life, with the advice of her grandfather, with the advice and the tool that her mother gave her in what she called ‘‘Her ring of wisdom’’.

Daniela, iba caminando hacia la parte alta de la montaña, ella disfrutaba del camino y su hermosura, sus ojos se distraían alegremente con el color verde de las montañas, el cielo azul y las nubes blancas que se veían en el horizonte. Finalmente, se detuvo y dio gracias a la vida, ya que en ese momento, ella observó como aparecía un arcoíris en medio de las dos montañas, cuya hermosura desde hace un rato alegraban su vista.
Ella había subido a la montaña para estar asolas y aclarar su mente, ya que estaba pasando por una situación muy difícil, y siempre que se le presentaba un problema en la vida, ella seguía el consejo de su abuelo, que era el de alejarse del problema física y mentalmente para poder ver la realidad con claridad. Su abuelo siempre le decía, ‘‘Habrá veces que sientas que un problema te está ahogando, pero si te alejas de él, y lo miras desde fuera, verás muchas veces, que el lago qué pensabas, que tenía tanta agua para ahogarte, no es más que un pequeño pozo, por el cual puedes pasar caminando’’.
Daniela, siempre hacía ese consejo que le dio su abuelo, siempre se alejaba, mental y físicamente, de los problemas que tenía y los veía con una visión muy diferente a cuando estaba dentro del problema. Pero ahora, hiciera lo que hiciera, ella no veía una salida a su problema, y además sentía miedo de no poder dar una respuesta adecuada a su situación. Y para más, las dos únicas personas que siempre le servían de soporte y apoyo en su vida, ya no estaban con ella, ya que ambas, su madre y su abuelo, habían muerto.
Daniela veía la ciudad, sentada en una enorme piedra en la parte alta de la montaña. Ella estaba sola, pero no se sentía así, se sentía llena y plena, disfrutaba de la visión que tenía de las montañas, del arcoíris, de las nubes, de las flores y de la visión de algunas personas que estaban realizando la caminata, que ella hizo para llegar hasta ahí.
Su mente se iba a la reunión que tuvo el día anterior, era un viernes y la junta de la empresa la llamó de urgencia, había problemas económicos graves, ya que su principal cliente, no podía realizar compras a la empresa, debido a las sanciones económicas que se habían generado por problemas políticos en contra de su país, sin embargo, la empresa, había realizado un enorme pedido para esa empresa, quedando casi sin recursos, solo con la mercancía, que era demasiada, para el resto de sus clientes.
Según le habían informado, era casi imposible que su empresa pudiera sobrevivir a esa situación actual. En esa reunión, se presentaron varias situaciones y el cómo poder enfrentar las mismas, allí se trató el cierre, la quiebra de la empresa, el funcionamiento con el mínimo de personal, la posibilidad de solicitar préstamos para solventar deudas y mantenerse abiertos con todo el personal y muchas otras cosas.
Pero las opciones más realistas, eran el declararse en quiebra y cerrar, o el despedir a la mayor cantidad de trabajadores, pagar todas las deudas y quedarse trabajando con el mínimo de personal, mientras se solventaba la situación y se lograba recuperar a los mayores clientes que estaban en el extranjero.
Daniela lloraba, al ver que todo su trabajo y todos sus logros colgaban de un hilo y por razones políticas, que nada tenían que ver son su trabajo, sus esfuerzos, sus logros y sus errores. Su futuro, y el de sus trabajadores, dependía de la política y eso la asqueaba. En medio de su llanto, generado por la frustración del momento, Daniela tocó él al anillo que le regaló su madre, y sintió un escalofrío primero y después una enorme tranquilidad, al recordar lo que su madre le dijo al entregarle, el anillo.
—Hola Daniela, feliz cumpleaños. Hija mía, tengo un obsequio muy especial para ti. — Dijo Gloria, la madre de Daniela.
—Hola mama, muchas gracias. — Dijo Daniela, mientras abrazaba y besaba a su madre.
Gloria, después del abrazo de su hija, sacó de su bolsillo una cajita, y se la dio a Daniela, quien la abrió con mucho cariño, intriga y rapidez, ya que le emocionaba cuál era el regalo tan especial que le iba a dar su madre. Al abrir la cajita, Daniela vio un anillo de plata, parecido a los anillos de graduación, solo que la parte de arriba era plana y tenía la imagen de una mujer, y en los lados del anillo había unas letras.
Daniela vio a su madre con curiosidad y le preguntó. ¿Qué significa el anillo, mamá?
Gloria río, y le dijo, es un regalo para toda la vida, un regalo que te ayudará a ser feliz y a enfrentar todas las situaciones que se te presenten en la vida. Te explico. La cara que vez en el anillo, es la cara de la Diosa Atenea, que es la diosa de la sabiduría. Las iniciales que vez en cada lado del anillo, representan dos frases, que si las sigues con sabiduría, nada perturbará tu vida.
La primera frase dice ‘‘Todo cambia, todo enseña, nada es eterno’’ —Con eso mi Daniela querida, lo que quiero que aprendas, es que en la vida todo es cíclico, nada es eterno, hoy podemos ser ricos, mañana podemos ser pobres, hoy estamos sanos, mañana nos enfermamos o sufrimos un accidente y estamos en cama, hoy tenemos poder, mañana somos esclavos en el lugar donde antes mandábamos, hoy somos felices, mañana estamos tristes y puede ser al contrario todo lo que te dije. Y siempre será así, ya que la vida es dinámica, y es en esos cambios que se generan en la vida, que uno aprende y madura, crece y se fortalece. Por eso coloqué, las letras de esa frase en el anillo ‘‘TCTENE’’, para que siempre lo recuerdes y no te aferres al pasado, para que así, la infelicidad, no se adueñe de tu vida. —
—¿Y la segunda frase qué dice mamá? —
Gloria, con una hermosa sonrisa, le dijo a su hija, la segunda frase dice; ‘‘Adaptate al cambio, no dejes que el ego y el apego te controlen’’. —Debes adaptarte a los cambios Daniela, debes aprender de cada una de las experiencias que te dé la vida, debes aprender a ver las enseñanzas que te da cada momento, cada persona, cada libro, cada trabajo, cada viaje, cada paisaje, cada amor, cada desamor, cada alegría, cada tristeza. Debes aprender, pero nunca debes apegarte al pasado y debes evitar que el ego te controle, así evitarás el odio, el sufrimiento y el miedo a la vida. La vida es el regalo más grande que Dios nos da Daniela, pero lo que hagamos en ella, es solo decisión de nosotros, por el libre albedrío. Por eso te hago este regalo, para que sea una herramienta que te ayude en los momentos más fuertes de tu vida. Por eso estas frases con el signo menos, para que siempre te recuerdes, que el ego y el apego no te deben dominar. ‘‘AC-CA-C’’.
Daniela miró su anillo, se dio cuenta de que los regalos de su madre y abuelo, le dieron las claves para superar lo que pasaba. Ella decidió seguir con la empresa al mínimo sin deudas, esperando a ver si la realidad política cambiaba. Le dio prestaciones y apoyo a todos sus antiguos trabajadores y les prometió, contratarles a la medida que fuese mejorando la situación.
Daniela aprendió de sus errores y de sus logros, y aunque perdió su estatus económico y la fortaleza de su empresa, siguió siendo feliz y siguió disfrutando de la vida, enfrentando la realidad de la vida, con los consejos de su abuelo, con los consejos y la herramienta que le dio su madre en el que ella llamaba ‘‘Su anillo de la sabiduría’’.

Holding unto the past has been a major source of unhappiness for most of us even when we don't realize it. What we need to do is to learn to live like water who takes up the shape of anything and doesn't rely so much on it's past shape.
I am happy Daniela had all of these explained to her after receiving the ring and it helped her as she tried to solve the issue with her company.
