MY WORST TRAFFIC EXPERIENCE

Hello Hivians, how are you all doing today? It's a New day and everyone here is totally happy. I'm Also very excited today maybe it's because of the good news I heard yesterday that made me wake up feeling so excited.

Concerning traffic jam in Lagos, I guess it's the worst. Those who have in one way or the other experience Lagos traffic will definitely testify to what I'm about to say. There's no day you will go out in Lagos without being trapped in traffic which is one thing I don't like about the state. As a worker, if you don't want to be trapped in traffic or probably you don't want to get to your office late, you will have to leave the house as early as possible.

I could remember when my mom used to work in Apapa Lagos, she will always leave the house very early before day break and I do wonder why she used to do that because I was quite small, although she told me that she had to leave early because of traffic. By then I had no experience about traffic, the only thing I do then was to go to school, visit a friend and some weekends my mom will take my kid sister and I out, so I really do not experience traffic jam then.

Even when she started working in another company, she did same thing, after I finish high school, I wanted to follow her to work one Friday and she allowed me, we left very early but even as we left the house early, we still met traffic on the way. The worst of it all was when we were coming back, we spent hours just because of traffic. That should be my first traffic experience but it wasn't my worst experience 🤣🤣🤣

After then, I began to have some experience about Lagos traffic but my worst experience so far was the first time I drove on the highway. When you hear this, you should know I was still a learner then, I was learning how to drive in streets but the first day my teacher decided to allow me to drive on the express was when I met traffic on the highway along Lagos Ibadan Express Way. There was no way to even go back, I stayed in traffic for more than two hours and I was really frustrated and angry at the same time. I was also very tired 😩, then I could see what drivers face on the highway. Some drivers had already forgotten that a learner was on the highway because I believe they could see the big later "L" which signifies learner, instead they were struggling the road with me and I was frustrated 🥴

My teacher was like he won't help me out, I should find a way out. After few hours on traffic, we finally left there and when I got home I was very tired, I had my bath and I went to bed 🤣🤣🤣, lazy Nancy 😂

The traffic didn't impact anything in me, it only made me to be bold while I was struggling the road with some expert 😂😂, but to be frank with you, it can be frustrating when trapped in traffic.

Thanks for stopping by

Being trapped in traffic is frustrating indeed. Nothing to FP and nowhere to go, just crawling along slowly.

Very irksome.

Thank you for sharing this with us.
