the importance of being honest

i was thinking about the first time i hear about hive; it was from a "money making" video. and you know how these videos make it seem like you can make a million just by showing up!

but after spending some time here with you guys. i realised that hive is a lot more than money making! hive is about being in a community where you won't be taking advantege of, a community where you can be who you are and not be censored or "cancelled". there is much more to hive that i can't explain with my english; but i'm pretty sure a lot (if not all) real hivers feel!

we all know that hive is a gold mine. but it has to be digged with toothpicks instead of shovels; if we don't want to ruin it!

if hive ever became mainstream i'm sure that we will see a hige wave of spam; all i hope is that there will be enough downvoting to stop it and let the good come through!

i learned a lot about hive in the time i was here, and i know that i have a lot more to learn, all i hope is that hive will never die!

one of the mistakes i regret not doing is making an introduction post; and i don't know if it's too late know, but it's all good; the important thing thing is that i'm here! and i will stay for sure 😅.

It's never too late to make an intro post. You can do it now.

Also, I see you're new on Hive, so let me drop you a few suggestions to help you navigate better on our platform.

We have different communities on Hive and we're encouraging users to post in the right community based on the topic of the post. This post for example would fit better in Self Improvement community.

OCD community is for topics that don't fit in any other community and should be used when you don't find a niche community for your post.

Here's a guide I put together to help you learn about how communities work and why you should use them -> Communities Explained - Newbie Guide. I also put together a list of communities, which is not complete, there are much more communities on Hive, but it will help you get started.

Once you posted your post in the right community, you can then cross post it to OCD community. Here's a guide about cross posting.

Please don't delete any post with the purpose of reposting it in another community as that can be considered abuse. Leave this post here, you'll get it right next time.
