Today's Market Survey//My Analysis towards the barbaric inflation of goods in the market

I first of all visited the place where I could obtain rice and beans and I was terrified that a mudu which comprises of 8 cups of rice remains 1.4$ of which by my rough analysis these food items are supposed to have a decrease in price. Why did I made that hypothesis? Normally this is a time during the year where farmers harvest their crops from the farm specially the beans and rice and by experience, these items are supposed to go decrease in price because there use to be excess availability of them in the market. Things are not really becoming better with my country because the shoot in price of items is becoming unbearable for the masses.

The same thing happened when I visited another place to buy sugar. Formally sugar is sold at the rate of 1$ per mudu which comprises of eight cups but it is exactly times two of the former price which is 2$ per mudu. I couldn't afford for a mudu again so I decided to go for half of it. A lot of things in the market have shoot up in price and most of all you will hear the sellers saying it's unnegotiable. I really have a concern about the whole happenings because this is the time some of these items are supposed to go lesser in price but rather they're going higher in price. I was making a little hypothesis about this, right now that goods are supposed to go lesser in price but rather they're shooting up with the speed of light what will now happen when the period of scarcity of these items comes, when stuffs will shoot up in the market? I seriously don't want to imagine buying a mudu of rice at 3 or 4 dollar, life is becoming much more harder for the poor masses and this so much baffles me. I really don't even know how I would've cope up with these nemesis without HIVE in my life. Hive is just like a life saver for me and allot of people here. It feels so good to be here and we getting better everyday.

I wanted to take some stew today so I visited the last place where I could buy vegetables before coming home. Those tomatoes and onions and peppers looks so fresh and yummy, I couldn't purchase the quantity I want rather the quantity my money could afford because the tomatoes are also not cheap like before. It was indeed an experience in the market today and I hope to visit more often.
Below are the pictures of some items I bought, all thanks to Hive❤️❤️

Thank You

This is so disheartening. What troubles me most is that this inflation doesn't affect the rich, it is the poor that are suffering the heat most. Imagine having your budget based on the prices you knew before only to come to the market and receive the shock of your life.
The recent increase in the price of fuel has caused the prices of a lot of things to shoot high, but I don't really expect it to reach this extend. Ha! This one that Christmas has not yet reached, if God doesn't help us, are you sure we will still be able to eat rice? 😂🙆😂.
mehnnnn... Maybe I will just go and process my maize flower and make proper use of it that day ooo😂😂
Hahahhah.. we are in God's hands, but be rest assured you will eat that alone😁😁😂
Everything is so expensive now, I can relate. Something I usually by for less than $1 is now $2 and the fact is you can't eat the money so you must buy
very true dear @meyateingi
We have to survive therefore we have to buy
Thanks for coming around
