Should I put my eggs in one basket or several baskets? ||Trust issues in relationship
Hello friends of hive!
So, a heated argument of whether or not to trust a man or woman completely came up in this group chat I belong. This was actually a reaction to the recent skeleton found in Yul Edochie's cupboard.
For those who don't know, Yul Edochie is a popular Nigerian Hollywood actor and aswell the son of Pete Edochie (a veteran Bollywood actor). Yul's recent announcement of a second wife and another son took his wife and old school sweet by surprise such that her only response to the online announcement was 'God will judge both of you'.
A lot of reactions and opinion are out there but the one in this video got me reacting. So do you think one should go into any relationship with reservations? Planning the end of a marriage even at the very beginning?
How do you think this will affect their children?
Where is Yul's wife at fault here? Should she divorce him or stay in a marriage she had invested in?

They are reckless and should have shown the proper media what they had before taking me hostage for 5 years. I know there are many in prison that dont deserve to be there because of this. Its a terrorist act on American soil while some say its not real or Im a mental case. Many know its real. This is an ignored detrimental to humanity domestic and foreign threat. Ask informed soldiers in the American military what their oath is and tell them about the day you asked me why. Nobody has I guess. Maybe someone told ill informed soldiers they cant protect America from military leaders in control with ill intent. How do we protect locked up soldiers from telling the truth?

Lol. Don't be scared. Marriage is an interesting journey of life. It gives you your very own people (husband and kids). These people that will stand by you and would they would be the people you live for.
Its a deep kind of love. One of a unique nature.

In my own own opinion yeah, it's different strokes for different people. However, with the way things are going now, I will not advise any woman to put all her eggs in one basket . It's best to support your husband while also doing other things for yourself alongside.
This Yul issue still baffles me. Like you, he was my celebrity crush when i was much younger. His voice had a special ring to it that made me want to see all his movies. No one deserves what May got from him.
Now, if May Yul had come out to say she had a baby with her second husband, while still married to Yul, will the men defending Yul also defend her with their full chests? Double standards.
Mercy Aigbe saw pepper in the streets of twitter and Instagram for getting married as a second wife. But Yul is receiving accolades alongside criticism. Now, some ego filled men are praising what I consider to be arrant nonsense.

Like i said before, the same people that said the woman should look after herself would turn around and call her a bad wife for doing so. It happened on twitter. Now that a woman has been shamed publicly for trusting her husband, she's naive and it's her fault.
To be honest, some people are just scum. And she has every right to feel entitled... She was married to him for 16 years!!!! Wow! She gave sixteen years of her life to him!
So she has every right to feel hurt just like @estherscott pointed out.
Exactly my pain point too. How dare they call her naive for believing in a man and investing her whole life in her marriage.
This is a really serious issue and my reason for highlighting it because my husband and I are starting from humble beginning. Am I wrong for quiting my 7:30am - 6pm (monday to saturday) banking job to have our baby? Because I was at risk of having miscarriage caused by stress?
Am I wrong to juggle everything all together alone because we can't have a nanny?
