A nice hot bath!
Last night I ended my day with a nice hot bath.
While I was soaking in the tub and relaxing, enjoying a bit of silence, I reflected on how things were going.
Bathtubs and swimming pools are among the best places to reflect... on a par with only a nice campfire!
As I have already had the opportunity to say in the last few days, the journey continues quite well and, it seems, that one after the other each piece is taking its place.
This is certainly due to my commitment and my organization, once I have made a plan I follow it, at most I allow myself to make changes during construction if I feel I can do something different and even more effective.
However, I believe that a change of mentality and approach have had a great specific weight in the positive trend of things.
I recently discovered that I will soon become a father and, surely, this has led me to approach things differently.
I'm not just talking about future responsibilities and the weight of these, I'm thinking above all of joy and happiness; therefore, mine has now doubled since in addition to all that my beloved Reny gives me every day, now there is also the one that gives me and will give me our offspring (I write this way not knowing if it will be a bean or a green bean heh heh!).
I believe that approaching situations in a positive and proactive way helps many things; this is true in both positive and negative moments.
Being able to find good even on bad days is an important skill that can be innate but can also be developed with training and, when certain events occur, it is strengthened.
Going back to the budget, as I said, the situation is positive; my short-term goals have been achieved and I'm already setting those for the coming month.
In a couple of months it will be time for mid-year balance sheets and I will have a clearer picture of where I am and what needs to be done to achieve slightly bigger goals.
Probably, this change of attitude could have led to a sprint or, if necessary, to sprint and increase speed after the first checks.
Dreams and goals mix and, as always, I can consider myself a lucky person who has dreamed many and many dreams of him and has seen them come true but he still has many others and the same goes for goals.
I was reading a wish that said: "I wish that all your dreams come true, all but one, so that you can continue dreaming because a life without dreams would be really sad."
Well now I can conclude and, this time I want to do it as I started, using a nice quote...

Firstly... I am jealous that you have a bath. They are very uncommon in Finland and I miss them.
Secondly, being a father is awesome! Not without challenges by any means, but there is so much unexpected value, especially for those who choose to be present in the lives of their kids, not just sitting in front of a screen and making sure the bills are paid. You are going to be a great dad, I am sure!
Well, as I have already told your brother, we have plenty of room here at home, the Calabrian summer lasts until well into September and Reny and I are waiting for you for a nice holiday. I'm sure Smallsteps would have a great time and you and your wife would relax.
We will take a bath in the hydromassage pool in the garden... indeed the bathrooms!!!
