Christmas with your parents, Easter with whoever you want!

Today is a day of celebration so I'll leave the reflections alone and give some space to the story of the day.

This Easter is special for us because it is Samuelino's first; Usually we spend these types of holidays with our family with our parents, but this year we found ourselves living them in Rome (Christmas) and today we even made a trip to Abruzzo, but let's go in order.

You should know that a dear friend of Reny lives in Teramo, they are so close that they call each other cousins; this girl's sister, also our dearest friend, lives in Rome and works in the hospital where Samuele has been and will be hospitalized.

In recent days they invited us to spend Easter with them, which naturally made us very happy and we accepted.

This morning we got up at a decent time and, after making ourselves cool, we left.

From Rome to Teramo it's only a two hour drive so it wasn't a very long journey and then Samuele loves the car in fact he was very good, both on the outward and return journey.

Naturally, since all southern people were sitting around the table, there was no shortage of food; However, I don't have any photos of the crime because I didn't touch my cell phone during lunch, I don't like wasting time with that diabolical device when you're in company.

However, for the record we had a quick appetizer with various cured meats, roasted peppers, cheeses and a typical Molise dish whose name I don't remember (it was a kind of calzone with an omelette inside), baked pasta first and second course meatloaf and fennel and orange salad, there was also lamb but I don't eat it even if it's tradition; we concluded the meal with strawberries and various desserts, of course there was no shortage of pastiera.

Samuele passed from arm to arm, his Uncles and Grandmother-in-law fought over him throughout the day, he was obviously very happy with all this cuddles, he has always been very sociable and a party animal.
Even his four-year-old cousin picked him up, this little boy is already a womanizer!

We also opened the Easter eggs, Samuele chose to bring the pirate egg to Teramo and in addition Bing's egg was also given to him by his uncles; needless to say that he also received lots of gifts including toys and clothes, I thought I was spoiling him but all our friends are no joke, every time we meet they always have a little thought for Samuele.

Our day in Abruzzo is coming to an end and Nanetto regains his strength after all the cuddles he received...

We left for Rome around 6pm and arrived home just for dinner time; had we been to Reggio and spent Easter in a classic way we would certainly have dined with the leftovers from lunch; this time we would have had to cook but the desire wasn't great so we opted to go out to eat something; the time to change Samu is to make him have dinner and go!

It was a fairly quick meal because our baby wants to go to sleep at a certain time; However, before sinking into Morpheus' arms he opened all the other chocolate eggs that he had left at home

For this year he has given enough eggs and surprises eh eh!

He sleeps peacefully and smiles every now and then, he really enjoyed himself today; Mum and Dad also spent a wonderful day; as for Christmas, even if we were far from home, we spent the holidays in the company of really dear friends who are family to us so, all in all we simply changed cities but the tradition was respected.

It goes without saying that both Samuele and we would have been much happier if the grandparents had also been there, but we will make up for this time in the future!

Oggi è un giorno di festa quindi lascio stare le riflessioni e regalo un pó di spazio alla storia della giornata.

Tranquillo probabilmente già domani tornerò a perdermi nei miei pensieri.

Questa Pasqua è speciale per noi perché è la prima per Samuelino; solitamente questo tipo di feste le passiamo in famiglia con i nostri genitori,quest'anno però ci siamo ritrovati a viverle a Roma (il Natale) e oggi abbiamo addirittura fatto una trasferta in Abruzzo, andiamo però con ordine.

Devi sapere che a Teramo vive una cara amica di Reny, sono talmente tanto legate che si chiamano cugine; la sorella di questa ragazza, anche lei nostra carissima amica, vive a Roma e lavora nell'ospedale dove Samuele è stato e sarà ricoverato.

Nei giorni scorsi ci hanno invitato a passare la Pasqua insieme a loro, la cosa ci ha fatto naturalmente molto piacere e abbiamo accettato.

Stamattina ci siamo alzati a un orario decente e, dopo esserci fatti fighi, siamo partiti.

Da Roma a Teramo ci sono solo due ore di auto quindi non è stato un viaggio lunghissimo e poi Samuele ama la macchina infatti è stato bravissimo, sia all'andata che al ritorno.

Naturalmente, essendo seduta attorno al tavolo tutta gente del sud, il cibo non è mancato; non ho foto però del misfatto perché durante il pranzo non ho toccato il cellulare, non mi piace quando si è in compagnia sprecare del tempo con quel diabolico aggeggio.

Comunque per la cronaca abbiamo fatto un veloce antipasto con salumi vari, peperoni arrosto, formaggi e un piatto tipico Molisano di cui non ricordo il nome (era una specie di calzone con al suo interno una frittata), per primo pasta al forno e per secondo polpettone e insalata di finocchi e arance, c'era anche l'agnello ma io non lo mangio anche se è tradizione; abbiamo concluso il pasto con le fragole e con dolci vari, naturalmente non è mancata la pastiera.

Samuele è passato di braccia in braccia, gli Zii e la Nonna acquisita se lo sono conteso per tutta la giornata, lui ovviamente è stato ben contento di tutte queste coccole, è da sempre molto socievole e festaiolo.
Addirittura lo ha preso in braccio anche la Cuginetta di quattro anni, questo bimbo è già una sciupafemmine!

Abbiamo anche aperto le uova di Pasqua, Samuele ha scelto di portare a Teramo quello dei pirati e in più gli è stato regalato dagli Zii anche l'uovo di Bing; inutile dire che ha ricevuto anche tantissimi regali tra giochini e vestitini, io credevo di viziarlo ma tutti i nostri amici non scherzano mica, ogni volta che ci incontriamo hanno sempre un pensierino per Samuele.

La nostra giornata Abruzzese volge al termine e il Nanetto recupera le forze dopo tutte le coccole ricevute...

Ripartiti con destinazione Roma verso le 18 siamo arrivati a casa giusto per l'ora di cena; fossimo stati a Reggio e avessimo trascorso la Pasqua in maniera classica sicuramente avremmo cenato con gli avanzi del pranzo; questa volta invece ci sarebbe toccato cucinare ma la voglia non era tanta quindi abbiamo optato per andare a mangiare qualcosa fuori; il tempo di cambiare Samu è di farlo cenare e via!

È stato un pasto abbastanza veloce perché il nostro Bimbo a una certa ora vuole andare a dormire; prima però di sprofondare tra le braccia di Morfeo ha aperto tutte le altre uova di cioccolato che aveva lasciato a casa

Per quest'anno con uova e sorprese ha dato abbastanza eh eh!

Il tempo di prendere un pó di latte ed è crollato, dovresti sentire come russa!

Dorme sereno e ogni tanto sorride, oggi si è proprio divertito; anche la Mamma e il Papà hanno trascorso una bellissima giornata; come per il Natale, anche se distanti da casa, abbiamo trascorso le festività in compagnia di amici davvero cari che per noi sono famiglia quindi, tutto sommato semplicemente abbiamo cambiato città ma la tradizione è stata rispettata.

Inutile dire che sia Samuele che noi saremmo stati molto più felice se ci fossero stati anche i nonni, ma recupereremo questo tempo in futuro!

Bene ora credo che seguirò l'esempio di mio Figlio e andrò a dormire sono davvero stanco; prima però desidero oltre che ringraziarti come al solito anche farti i miei auguri per la Pasqua oramai passata e per la Pasquetta che sta arrivando!
