Last Day...
Penultimate day of the assembly, we're nearing the conclusion.
Although today has been and will continue to be quite intense, just like tomorrow morning.
In the afternoon session, representatives from various regions of Italy shared their experiences of organ donation, region by region.
Here you can see my wonderful little sister, Claudia, who is the president of the Tuscany region, speaking about its reality.
Naturally, alongside the serious part, there is always a recreational and entertaining aspect.
Earlier, we listened to an excerpt from Tosca performed by three talented tenors who will participate in the Puccini Festival.
Later, we had a unique communication training session with Diego Parassole, from whom I borrowed the opening phrase. He's both a comedian performing on television and in theaters, as well as a trainer.
So far, it has been a truly fantastic day, and to everyone's surprise, we concluded the work ahead of schedule!
If you're wondering why all this enthusiasm, let me tell you that in more than eighty national assemblies, it had never happened before.
Of course, the day is not over yet. As I write this, I'm returning to the hotel to freshen up and get more comfortable since tonight, after dinner, there's a traditional Romagna dance evening organized. Later on, we'll have a beer with friends from Bologna who came all the way to Rimini just to say hello.
Occasions like the assembly can be quite tiring due to long journeys, little sleep, and practically always listening to conference sessions for three days straight. However, they are also beautiful events where we come together and can embrace each other warmly like family.
We got these tattoos with my fellow Avis sisters to always carry our fantastic journey not only in our hearts but also on our skin.
Today, my own sisters gave Reny, Samuele, and me a truly beautiful gift...
This birth book you see is the same one we gifted to every member of our fantastic special family whenever a little Avisino nephew or niece was about to be born. Today, they gave it to us. What a joy!
Of course, it comes with a heartfelt dedication, haha!
Well, now I bid you farewell. I'm getting ready for dinner as I don't want to stay out late on this last Avisina evening. It's the last one for this year and for what concerns the National Avis.
Once we're back home, we'll have many more days like these in our beloved Reggio, waiting for the time of another national assembly to come.

Penultimo giorno di assemblea, siamo quasi alla conclusione.
Anche se la giornata di oggi è stata e sarà ancora bella intensa, così come la mattinata di domani.
In apertura di pomeriggio ci sono stati gli interventi di tutte le varie regioni d'Italia che hanno portato le esperienze della donazione, territorio per territorio.
Qui puoi vedere la mia bellissima sorellina Avisina Claudia che parla della realtà della Regione Toscana, lei ne è la presidente.
Naturalmente, oltre la parte seria c'è sempre una parte ricreativa e anche divertente.
Prima abbiamo ascoltato un estratto della Tosca eseguita da tre bravissimi tenori che parteciperanno al Puccini Festival.
In seguito abbiamo fatto un corso di formazione sulla comunicazione un po' particolare con Diego Parassole, al quale ho rubato la frase di apertura; la sua particolarità è che è sia un comico che fa spettacoli televisivi e teatrali sia un formatore.
Fino ad ora è stata davvero una giornata fantastica e, sorpresa delle sorprese, abbiamo concluso in anticipo i lavori!
Se Ti stai chiedendo il perché di tutto questo entusiasmo sappi che in ottanta e passa assemblee nazionali non era mai successo.
Naturalmente la giornata non è ancora terminata, mentre Ti scrivo sto rientrando in albergo per cambiarmi e mettermi più comodo visto che stasera dopo la cena è stata organizzata una serata di danze tipiche romagnole e, in seguito, andremo a bere una birra con degli amici di Bologna che sono arrivati fino a Rimini proprio per salutarmi.
Occasioni come quelle dell'assemblea sono abbastanza stancanti visto che si fanno lunghissimi viaggi, si dorme poco e si sta, praticamente sempre, ad ascoltare per tre giorni un convegno; sono però anche bellissimi eventi in cui ci si ritrova e ci si può stringere in abbracci calorosi e familiari.
Questo tatuaggio lo abbiamo fatto con le mie sorelle avisine per portare sempre sulla pelle, oltre che nel cuore, il nostro fantastico percorso.
Le mie stesse sorelline oggi hanno fatto un regalo a Reny, Samuele e me davvero bellissimo...
Questo libro della nascita che vedi, è lo stesso che abbiamo regalato ad ogni membro della nostra fantastica famiglia speciale ogni volta che stava per nascere un nipotino Avisino; oggi loro lo hanno regalato a noi, che gioia!
Naturalmente con tanto di dedica eh eh!
Bene ora Ti saluto, mi preparo per la cena non voglio fare tardi in questa ultima serata Avisina; ultima ma, ovviamente, solo per questo anno e per quel che riguarda Avis Nazionale.
Tornati a casa ne avremo tantissime altre di giornate così nella nostra amata Reggio in attesa che torni il tempo di una nuova assemblea nazionale.
