Among other things, we are talking about very simple programs such as Office, among other things in this specific case I wrote the instructions explaining what to do in detail and to test everything I had my father install the product on his PC and did it without any problems.

If we consider that my Father has not yet learned how to use his Smartphone, it will be clear to you how simple the instructions I wrote were to follow.

Precisely from experience and given that everyone in my family is not very accustomed to technology and that instead of being Users they are "Utons" I have studied and created a booklet with simple but detailed instructions to be followed step by step like a check list.

The focal point of this post, however, is not the programs I sold or their instructions but the study in general is knowledge.

Although, as mentioned, today it is practically impossible not to find the information that interests us, people, often out of laziness, prefer to remain ignorant.
Personally, whatever there is to do, I try to do it myself, what I don't know I try to learn by studying; It's normal that I don't always succeed in everything, especially the jobs that require manual skill and experience are bad the first few times, but then little by little I refine my techniques and improve.

Naturally, even if everything can be studied, I would never think of learning how to perform a surgical operation and then carrying it out, there is a limit to everything and everyone has their own fields; this doesn't mean that I can't still study something that interests me even if I will never be able to practice it.

Let's take for example the situation that my family and I are currently experiencing, since it all began I have read and informed myself, article after article, some even very technical; if you ask me something today about neonatal cardiology, ventricular defects and in general about the heart of children there is nothing I don't know.

And incidentally in this specific case the study of the subject hurt me a lot emotionally.

But that's how I am, I have to know things even if this can make me feel bad or affect me emotionally; I personally believe that the worst disease in the world is ignorance.

I'm not saying that everyone should be an all-rounder but I believe that as regards the topics that interest us and as regards the subject matter of our work, we must be prepared and we must train ourselves and keep ourselves updated.

One thing I can't stand is ignorance caused by laziness.

There should be no bad habit that can come between you and your thirst for knowledge; when you need to inform yourself or learn something but you don't feel like it, always remember, information is power!

I want to give one last trivial example before concluding: the purchase of a PC

Since I started studying, I watched video after video and then I bought the parts and assembled them myself, having never done it before.

Before going to the store, if you prepare yourself by studying all the specifications of the various computers, their prices and then put everything in relation to your needs, you will surely be able to find and buy what you need at the best possible price, it would be a real bargain. no?

Io credo che le persone dovrebbero studiare un poco ogni giorno. Dovrebbe diventare un’abitudine, come spazzolarsi i denti, pettinarsi i capelli, farsi una doccia o vestirsi. Studiare la mente, le leggi dell’universo e i paradigmi. C’è abbastanza informazione su queste materie per fare sì che una persona studi per sempre.

Oggi riprendo l'argomento di ieri, lo spunto di riflessione è diverso anche se l'ispirazione mi è venuta mentre scrivendo il post precedente.

Come ti dicevo ho venduto per un periodo delle licenze; tra Ebay e Etsy ne avrò vendute più di un migliaio, di conseguenza ho trattato con molti clienti.

Eccetto in rari casi, nella quasi totalità delle vendite, il cliente procedeva all'installazione del prodotto senza leggere le istruzioni che gli inviavo e ovviamente l'attivazione non andava a buon fine.

Naturalmente poi mi scrivevano accusandomi che le licenze non funzionavano e che li stavo truffando.

In tutti i casi sono riuscito a fargli installare i prodotti, a volte guidandoli a volte installandoglieli io stesso da remoto; la maggior parte, dopo essersi resa conto della propria bestialità, si scusava ma non tutti se devo essere sincero.

La domanda ora nasce spontanea, ma se non sai utilizzare una calcolatrice come pensi di poter installare un software senza nemmeno leggere le istruzioni?
Per carità, non dico che tutti debbano saperlo fare e proprio per questo esistono i manualetti all'interno delle scatole dei prodotti che acquistiamo, ci spiegano come fare e se seguiamo alla lettera ciò che dicono non ci si può sbagliare.

Io che mi definisco uno smanettone e che ho una certa esperienza con la maggior parte dei software in commercio, per imparare come installarli, come attivarli e come farli funzionare ho studiato i vari libretti di istruzioni e non solo quelli!

Ammetto che da ragazzo io e lo studio viaggiavamo su due binari paralleli.

Crescendo ho capito che studiare mi piace ed è importantissimo, lo è formarsi e informarsi; quando non sappiamo una cosa possiamo tranquillamente andare a cercarla e imparare come funziona.

Al giorno d'oggi tutti hanno accesso a praticamente tutte le informazioni pertanto il restare ignoranti su argomenti che ci interessano o che ci "necessitano" è semplicemente una scelta.

Per quelli che non sono avvezzi alla lettura ci sono addirittura audiolibri, podcast e video!

Se non sei pratico di informatica ma devi installare un software basta prendere il libretto di istruzioni, leggerlo, rileggerlo e poi seguire ciò che dice passo dopo passo.

Stiamo tra l'altro parlando di programmi molto semplici come ad esempio Office, tra le altre cose nel caso specifico le istruzioni le ho scritte io spiegando cosa fare nei minimi dettagli e per testare il tutto ho fatto effettuare l'istallazione del prodotto a mio padre sul suo PC e ci è riuscito senza problemi.

Se consideriamo che mio Padre ancora non ha imparato come usare il suo Smartphone ti sarà chiaro quanto erano semplici da seguire le istruzioni da me scritte.

Proprio per esperienza e visto che nella mia famiglia sono tutti poco avvezzi alla tecnologia e che invece di essere Utenti sono "Utonti" ho studiato e realizzato un libretto con delle istruzioni semplici ma dettagliate e da seguire passo dopo passo come una check list.

Il punto focale di questo post non sono però i programmi che vendevo o le loro istruzioni ma lo studio in generale è la conoscenza.

Nonostante, come detto, oggi è praticamente impossibile non reperire le informazioni che ci interessano la gente, spesso per pigrizia, preferisce restare ignorante.
Personalmente qualsiasi cosa ci sia da fare io cerco di farmela da solo, quello che non so provo a impararlo studiando; è normale che non sempre tutto mi riesca, soprattutto i lavori che richiedono manualità ed esperienza le prime volte mi vengono male però poi pian piano affino le mie tecniche e miglioro.

Naturalmente anche se tutto si può studiare non penserei mai di imparare come fare un'operazione chirurgica per poi eseguirla, a tutto c'è un limite e ognuno ha i suoi campi; ciò non significa che non possa comunque studiare qualcosa che mi interessa anche se non mi potrò mai cimentare con la pratica.

Prendiamo ad esempio la situazione che con la mia famiglia stiamo vivendo attualmente, da quando tutto ha avuto inizio ho letto e mi sono informato, articoli su articoli, alcuni anche molto tecnici; se mi chiedi qualcosa oggi sulla cardiologia neonatale, sui difetti interventricolari e in generale sul cuore dei bambini non c'è nulla che non conosca.

E per inciso in questo caso specifico lo studio della materia mi ha fatto emotivamente parecchio male.

Io però sono fatto così, devo conoscere le cose anche se questo può farmi stare male o toccarmi emotivamente; personalmente credo che la peggiore malattia che ci sia al mondo è l'ignoranza.

Non dico che tutti debbano essere dei tuttologi ma credo che per quel che riguarda gli argomenti che ci interessano e per quel che riguarda la materia dei nostri lavori, dobbiamo essere preparati e dobbiamo formarci e mantenerci aggiornati.

Una cosa che non sopporto è l'ignoranza causata dalla pigrizia.

Non dovrebbe esistere alcuna cattiva abitudine che si possa mettere tra te e la tua sete di conoscenza; quando devi informarti o imparare qualcosa ma non ne hai voglia ricorda sempre, l'informazione è potere!

Voglio fare un ultimo banale esempio prima di concludere: l'acquisto di un PC

Posto che io mi sono messo a studiare ho guardato video su video e poi ho comprato i pezzi e melo sono assemblato da solo, non avendolo mai fatto prima.

Prima di andare al negozio se ti prepari studiando tutte quelle che sono le specifiche dei vari computer, i loro prezzi e poi metti tutto in relazione alle tue esigenze sicuramente riuscirai a trovare e comprare ciò che ti necessita al miglior prezzo possibile, sarebbe un vero affare no?
Certo, se ti affidi al commesso di turno, naturalmente ciò non accadrà, il suo obiettivo è guadagnare il più possibile quindi sicuramente proverà a venderti qualcosa che costi di più o magari qualche accessorio per te non necessario.

Anche in questo caso lo studio è importante, poi potrai chiamare il tutto più banalmente "informazione" ma poco cambia.

Anche per oggi direi che può bastare, spero di averti regalato qualche buono spunto di riflessione.
