Today officially begins the adventure of the national assembly, the number 89 to be exact!

We arrived yesterday but work started today at 2.30pm.

I, in the end, am here simply as a listener; never mind I will be able, between one speech and another, to go around the pala-congress to say hello to some friends I haven't seen for a long time.

This morning the alarm went off as usual at dawn; at seven o'clock down for breakfast then ready to go and we left for San Marino, we had a couple of hours free and it was thought good to do some shopping.

Despite tight finances I managed to buy a thought for Reny and a little thing for Samu, I also got a magnet for the fridge.

It's on occasions like this that I realize how little satisfaction my occupation gives me, seeing everyone else buying gifts of all kinds for their loved ones while I had to count the penny made my heart ache.

For me I would not have bought anything anyway and, I am well aware that love is affection, they are not expressed or measured with gifts and objects; however, it is useless to be hypocritical and repeat cliches which then as soon as they are said one realizes that they are bullshit, anyone would like to have a lot of money in their pocket to buy gifts for their family without having to worry about how much they are spending.

I know my family loves me madly regardless and it is reciprocated but I love to make reveals, I would love when I go out for events like these to be able to shower them with gifts without worrying about the money spent and, this thing mk would make me happy and a little ' more serene.
So let's stop with this bullshit that it's okay anyway, it's not good at all, the only way to change things is to become aware of it in order to then act accordingly.

Let's get back to us, as you can see from the cover photo we are a nice little group, very cohesive and cheerful.

After a lavish lunch that you will be able to discover elsewhere, we finally headed to the congress hall to begin this fantastic adventure that repeats itself every year but which, every year, is always different and more and more beautiful.

I hadn't attended this annual event for a few years and, I must say, I found it more interesting and even rejuvenated, in some respects.

Moreover, having been able to embrace fraternal friends that I hadn't seen for years made everything more pleasant and, given how much I cared, it would have made even something unpleasant pleasant heh heh!

Sometimes a simple hug can really change the day, perspectives, even someone's life!

I believe that, with all these fraternal friends, with whom we have carried on a long journey and our mission for all these years, the beauty was not finding each other and starting a revolutionary movement that changed many things; the beauty is every time you meet and, even today, you have the same desire, the same enthusiasm, the same sacred fire that burns inside ... so luck is meeting, but it is even more so to be together for everyone this years.

I've already written other times about how much Avis means family to me and, when these occasions happen, I feel it even more.

I hope that in the future Samuele will also decide to become a donor or, at least, to devote himself to volunteering.

With Reny we always say to each other that we will leave him free to choose and direct his life because that's right, always obviously considering him as a parent should never stop doing; it is natural that each of us has preferences of him, I would like him a footballer dedicated to volunteering and Reny a classical music dancer.
By Murphy's Law he sure he will love basketball and hate dancing heh heh!

Today, however, I realize that this isn't important, the important thing is that Samuele is healthy, has many good friends and is a good person.

I personally have had the good fortune to enjoy good health up to now, when occasions like today's happen I understand how lucky I am because I have so many friends around Italy who love me and this, I hope, means that I am a as good a person to others as I am committed to being to myself.

Oggi inizia ufficialmente l'avventura dell'assemblea nazionale, la numero 89 per l'esattezza!

Siamo arrivati ieri ma i lavori sono cominciati oggi alle 14.30.

Io, alla fine, sono qui semplicemente come uditore; poco male potrò, tra un discorso e l'altro, andare in giro per il pala-congresso a salutare un po' di amici che non vedo da tanto tempo.

Stamattina la sveglia è suonata come al solito all'alba; alle sette giù a fare colazione poi pronti via e siamo partiti con destinazione San Marino, avevamo un paio di ore libere e si è pensato bene di fare un po' di shopping.

Nonostante le finanze risicate sono riuscito a comprare un pensiero per Reny e una cosina per Samu, ho anche preso una calamita per il frigo.

È in occasioni come questa che mi rendo conto di quante poche soddisfazioni mi regali la mia occupazione, vedere tutti gli altri che acquistava regali sldi tutti i tipi per i loro cari mentre io dovevo contare il centesimo mi ha fatto stringere io cuore.

Per me non avrei acquistato nulla comunque e, sono ben consapevole che l'amore è laffett non si esprimono né si misurano con regali e oggetti; inutile però essere ipocrita e ripetere delle frasi fatte che poi appena vengono dette ci si rende conto che sono cazzate, chiunque vorrebbe avere tanti soldi in tasca per acquistare dei regali alla propria famiglia senza doversi curare di quanto sta spendendo.

So che la mia famiglia mi ama alla follia a prescindere e la cosa è ricambiata ma io amo fare riveli, mi piacerebbe quando vado fuori per eventi come questi poterli ricoprire di regali senza preoccuparmi dei soldi spesi e, questa cosa mk renderebbe felice e un po' più sereno.
Quindi finiamola con sta cazzata che va bene lo stesso così, non va bene per nulla è, l'unico modo per cambiare le cose, è prenderne consapevolezza per poter poi agire di conseguenza.

Torniamo a noi,come puoi vedere dalla foto di copertina siamo un bel gruppetto, molto coeso e allegro.

Dopo un lauto pranzo che, potrai scoprire in altra sede ci siamo diretti finalmen alla sala congressi ler iniziare questa fantastica avventura che si ripete ogni anno ma che, tutti gli anni, è sempre diversa e sempre più bella.

Era da qualche anno che non partecipavo a questo annuale evento e, devo dire, l'ho ritrovato più interessante e anche ringiovanito, sotto certi aspetti.

Oltretutto, l'aver potuto riabbracciare amici fraterni che non vedevo da anni ha reso tutto più piacevole e, visto quanto ci tenevo, avrebbe reso piacevole anche qualcosa di spiacevole eh eh!

A volte un semplice abbraccio può davvero cambierei la giornata, le prospettive, a qualcuno addirittura la vita!

Credo che, con tutti questi amici fraterni, con i quali abbiamo portato avanti un lungo viaggio e la nostra mission per tutti questi anni, il bello non è stato trovarsi e cominciare un moto rivoluzionario che tante cose ha cambiato; il bello è ogni volta che ci si ritrova e ,ancora oggi si ha la stessa voglia, lo stesso entusiasmo, lo stesso sacro fuoco che arde dentro... la fortuna quindi è si incontrarsi, ma lo è ancora di più stare insieme per tutti questi anni.

Ho già scritto altre volte di quanto per me Avis voglia dire famiglia e, quando capitano queste occasioni, lo sento ancor di più.

Spero che in futuro anche Samuele decida di diventare donatore o, quantomeno, di dedicarsi al volontariato.

Con Reny ci diciamo sempre che lo lasceremo libero di scegliere e di indirizzare la sua vita perché è giusto così, sempre ovviamente vagliando su di lui come un genitore non dovrebbero smettere di fare mai; è naturale che ognuno di noi due ha le sue preferenze, io lo vorrei calciatore dedito al volontariato e Reny ballerino di musica classica.
Per la legge di Murphy sicuramente amerà il basket e odierà il ballo eh eh!

Oggi però mi rendo conto che non è importante questo, l'importante è che Samuele sia in salute, abbia tanti buoni amici e sia una brava persona.

Io personalmente ho avuto la buona sorte di godere fino ad oggi di buona salute, quando capitano occasioni come quelle di oggi capisco quanto sono fortunato perché ho tanti amici in giro per l'Italia che mi vogliono bene e questo, spero, significa che sono una brava persona per gli altri così come io mi impegno ad esserlo per me stesso.
