Prophet's Birthday Celebration
How are you all, good luck to all of you wherever you are. Today I attended the Prophet's Birthday in Ceumeucet Village, Kuta Makmur District, North Aceh Regency. Precisely in dayah "Darul Ilmi almunawarah". I received this invitation through my wife, who is a close relative. It took half an hour to get there.
When I arrived, the event had already started with the recitation of dhikr and barzanji by the dhikr group. They were specially invited by Dayah Darul Ilmi to celebrate the Prophet's Birthday. Invited guests continue to arrive to attend the celebration of the Prophet's Birthday, generally from the ceumeucet village community and alumni.
The dhikr groups take turns chanting salawat and dhikr to enliven the prophet's birthday. The prayers they read relate to the life story of the prophet and his struggles. To sound louder they use microphones and loudspeakers.
Wearing their uniform looks very harmonious in remembrance. Each group shows their respective abilities in chanting dhikr. The visitors who watched as if they did not want to move from their place. Body movements follow the rhythm of prayers and dhikr that are chanted and look very attractive.
The committee consisting of dayah children has prepared the place very well. The tent as a place for the remembrance group to chant prayers, a place for visitors and invited guests. Everything has been laid out neatly and very well. They did not forget to decorate the stage with knick-knacks to make it more interesting.
After the remembrance group reads shalawat and closed with a prayer, the celebration of the new prophet's birthday was over. After that, the remembrance group will be served a food menu as the highlight of the celebration of the Prophet's Birthday. Don't forget the rice wrap and Aceh pulot cake.
The Prophet's birthday with salawat, remembrance and celebration of the birthday has become a very strong tradition and culture and is difficult to separate. Without salawat and remembrance of the Prophet's birthday, he becomes empty. This is one of the atmosphere of the celebration of the Prophet's Birthday in Aceh.
