Hello, folks! Pablito here, bringing you another post with @splinterlands content! I've decided to kick off a series that I've been wanting to do for a while now: "My bot, my coach" featuring matches from my xbot that can teach us some tricks.

As a beginner player with a busy life, I usually let the bot handle most of my ranked matches, believing in its efficiency to farm rewards better than I can. In fact, I've configured my xbot to focus more on rewards, giving top priority to the Daily Focus.

To start this series, I've chosen a sequence of 3 matches where the Equal Opportunity rule was present, and the bot won all 3 matches using 3 different summoners. However, it prioritized Death, which was the Daily Focus.

Match 1

In this match, magic monsters cannot be played, and all monsters have Amplify, which increases the effects of Magic Reflect, Return Fire, and Thorns by 1.

The bot made good use of Thorns amplification by deploying 2 monsters with this ability on the field. The absence of magic monsters on the field creates space for Ever-Hungry Skull to shine, protected by its Armor and its ability to fly at level 6. Cursed Windeku is positioned in the backline, Harklaw with its Shield in the front, nullifying potential amplified Thorns and reducing melee attacks with Demoralize. Silent Sha-vi is targeting the opponent's backline, and interestingly, there are two powerful ranged monsters despite the amplified Return Fire. Match 2

This match features an unusual combination of Opportunity and Equalizer, which will set all monsters to the same amount of health, so we don't know beforehand which one will be targeted first. Keep your distance removes melee monsters from the battle.

The bot starts by relying on Mimosa Nightshade, one of the most powerful summoners in the game, which will reduce ranged damage by 1 from enemy monsters and give Void to our monsters. Guaranteed damage reduction against opponent monsters, as melee monsters are banned.

A beefed-up Venari Marksrat with life, two other powerful magic monsters (Venari Bonesmith and Death Elemental), and a Haunted Spider. I foresee a lot of poison being distributed...

I think the bot anticipated this Obsidian, as the strategy of reducing and containing magic damage was perfect, in addition to Mimosa's Affliction countering the Tank Heal abilitie of two opponent monsters. The opponent heavily invested in magic damage, but only Magi of Chaos ended up with valid damage, so it was an easy victory for us.

Match 3

To wrap up this series, a mirror match of Alric Stormbringer. Once again, the bot chooses sturdy monsters with a lot of health and high damage, in a classic Water composition: Diemonshark in the frontline, Flying Squid, Djinn Oshannus, Nerissa Tridawn, Sea Monster, and Phantom of the Abyss. However, all the monsters lost their abilities, so it's two bands of opportunists 😀. Who will come out on top?

Despite the opponent taking advantage of the magic damage bonus, our monsters were sturdier, and we emerged victorious, with plenty of rewards.

Salve, gurizada, Pablito na área, pra mais um post com conteúdo de @splinterlands !
Resolvi inaugurar uma série que há muito eu queria fazer: "Meu bot, meu coach", partidas do meu xbot que podem nos ensinar alguns truques.
Como jogador novato, e com a vida corrida, costumo entregar ao bot a maioria das minhas partidas ranqueadas, acreditando, também na eficiência do robô, que vai farmar recompensas melhor do que eu. Inclusive, configurei meu xbot pra focar mais nas recompensas, dando prioridade máxima no Focus do dia.

Abrindo esta série, escolhi uma sequência de 3 partidas onde a regra Equal Opportunity se fez presente, e o bot venceu as 3, com 3 summoners diferentes, mas pivilegiando Death, que era o Focus do dia.

Partida 1

Nesta partida, monstros mágicos não podem ser jogados, e todos os monstros tem Amplify, que aumentará em 1 os efeitos de Magic Reflect, Return Fire e Thorns.

O bot explorou bem a amplificação de Thorns, colocando 2 monstros com essa habilidade em campo. O fato de não haverem monstros mágicos em campo abre espaço pra Ever-Hungry Skull - que no nível 6 voa, literalmente - brilhar, protegido por seu Armor. Cursed Windeku na Backline, Harklaw com seu Shield na frente, anulando um possível Thorns amplificado e reduzindo o ataque melee com Demoralize, Silent Sha-vi mirando a backline adversária e, curiosamente, 2 monstros ranged potentes, a despeito do Return Fire amplificado. Perceba que todos os monstros têm um bom dano (maioria 3), e vida considerável (7 ou mais, com exceção de Ever-Hungry Skull que, ainda assim, soma 10 de proteção).

O adversário vem com um Kraken na backline, anulando Opportunity com seu Taunt, Um Sea Monster na frontline, que com seu Heal e o Tank Heal de Crustacean King seria imortal, não fosse o fato de todo mundo ter Opportunity, então provavelmente resultará com Sea Monster ser o último monstro a ser alvejado pelo meu time. Eu teria posto essa Kraken na linha de frente, pra valorizar o Crustacean King.
O time adversário se completa com Hobglobin, que não deve durar muito com seus 4 de vida, Centaur e Mantoid que devem anular o efeito de Opportunity com seus Snipe. Mas acho que esses monstros de vida baixa serão a derrocada do adversário, somado a um Crustacean King praticamente inútil.

A partida termina bem rápido, no turno 5, uma vitória arrasadora, que me rendeu muitas recompensas.

Partida 2

Essa partida possui uma combinação inusitada de Opportunity com Equalizer, que colocará todos os monstros com a mesma quantidade de vida, então não sabemos, a priori, qual será alvejado primeiro. Keep your distance tira os monstros melees da partida.

O bot começa apelando pra Mimosa Nightshade, um dos summoners mais potentes do jogo, que retirará 1 de dano ranged dos monstros inimigos e dará Void aos nossos monstros. Redução de dano garantida contra os monstros adversários, já que os melee estão banidos.
Ele começa com um Scavo Hireling na frontline, que não vai nem poder ativar seu Repair em si mesmo, já que ele não tem Armor pra ser reparado. Nunca um ser humano tomaria uma atitude dessas. Eu acho que o bot previu essa Obsidian, porque a estratégia de redução e contenção de dano mágico foi perfeita, além da Affliction da Mimosa que inutilizou as habilidades de Tank Heal de dois monstros oponentes. O adversário investiu pesado em dano mágico, mas apenas Magi of Chaos ficou com dano válido, então foi uma vitória fácil pra nós.

Para encerrar essa série, partida espelho de Alric Stormbringer. Mais uma vez, o bot escolhe monstros robustos, com muita vida e muito dano, numa composição clássica de Água: Diemonshark na frontline, Flying Squid, Djinn Oshannus, Nerissa Tridawn, Sea Monster e Phantom os the Abyss. Entretanto, todos os monstros perderam suas habilidade, então são dois bando de oportunistas 😀. Quem se dará melhor?

Apesar do oponente ter abusado do bônus de dano mágico, nossos monstros eram mais robustos, e saímos vitoriosos, e com muitas recompensas.
