Ferro White Walk - Paseo por Ferro White
Good evening dear fellow adventurers!
It's been some time since I've been out of the #wednesdaywalk and today I was really looking forward to participate, so even if it's a few minutes late I will make my participation in this fascinating challenge.
Taking advantage of the vacations at my work and the winter school break last week we took the opportunity to walk around some places we don't usually go to due to lack of time.

Hace ya algún tiempo que he estado fuera del #wednesdaywalk y hoy tenía mucha ilusión de participar, por ello y aunque sea algunos minutos tarde haré mi participación en este fascinante desafío.
Aprovechando las vacaciones en mi trabajo y el receso escolar de invierno la semana pasada aprovechamos para pasear por algunos lugares a los cuales no solemos ir por falta de tiempo.
Last Saturday we went for a walk to the coastal part of the city, a place that until recently was abandoned in oblivion and that for some years now has been recovering these spaces and put in value.
On this occasion we visited the facilities of the Ferro White museum, where an old power plant that supplied energy to the port area until it was integrated to the national high voltage system used to operate.
Within this coastal area, besides the existence of a port from which the country's agricultural production is sold to the world, there is also a petrochemical pole where chemical fertilizers, polyurethane and other industries of the sector are produced.
El sábado pasado fuimos de paseo a la parte costera de la ciudad, un lugar que hasta hace muy poco tiempo estaban abandonados en el olvido y que desde hace unos años a esta parte se han ido recuperando estos espacios y puestos en valor.
En esta ocasión visitamos las instalaciones del museo de Ferro White donde funcionaba una vieja usina que proveía de energía a la zona portuaria hasta antes que estuviese integrado al sistema nacional de alta tensión.
Dentro de esta zona costera además de existir un puerto desde el cual se venden al mundo gran la producción agrícola del país funciona en el lugar un polo petroquímico en el cual se producen desde fertilizantes químicos, poliuretano entre otras industrias del sector.
We also found some models of ships and cities with their respective railroad systems.
The place has a great attraction not only for the museum, but also for the ruins of the old power plant, which is a very nice place to visit and tour. The architecture of the building is really beautiful and imposing.
Our cities, the environment in which we move often has many places that are very interesting to visit and that many times we did not know of their existence. Another small part of our city that we have known and enjoyed as a family.

Near the facilities of the old power plant there is a museum where a large number of railroad tools that were left in disuse after the privatizations and the scrapping of the Argentine Railway Service are housed.
The idea of the museum was to show society this aspect of the railway culture that occupied thousands of people throughout the country and that kept together a country with such a large territory as Argentina.
In the museum we can find all kinds of elements related to the railroad, from tools to the most diverse elements used in this branch of activity. By means of videos and several activities, the children are taught the importance of this means of transportation that practically does not exist in the country.
En cercanías de las instalaciones de la vieja usina funciona un museo donde se alojan gran cantidad de herramientas del ferrocarril que quedaron en desuso tras las privatizaciones y del desguace del Servicio de Ferrocarriles Argentinos.
La idea del museo fue mostrar a la sociedad este aspecto de la cultura ferroviaria que ocupaba a miles de personas a lo largo y ancho del país y que mantenía unido a un país con un territorio tan extenso como el que tiene Argentina
En el museo podemos encontrar todo tipos de elementos relacionados con el ferrocarril, desde herramientas hasta los más diversos elementos que se utilizan en esta rama de actividad. Por medio de videos y varias actividades se les enseña a los niños cual fue la importancia que tuvo en su momento que conozcan un poco de este medio de transporte que prácticamente no existe en el país.

También encontramos algunas maquetas de embarcaciones y y de ciudades con sus respectivos sistemas de vías férreas.
El lugar guarda un gran atractivo no solo por el museo, sino también por las ruinas de la vieja usina que es un lugar muy lindo para visitar y recorrer. La arquitectura del edificio es realmente bella e imponente.
Nuestras ciudades, el entorno en el cual nos movemos muchas veces tiene guardados muchos sitios que son muy interesantes de recorrer y que muchas veces no sabíamos de su existencia. Otro pequeño de nuestra ciudad que hemos conocido y disfrutado en familia.

Thanks for joining Wednesday Walk :), I truly enjoy exploring the world virtually each Wednesday seeing walks from all around the globe and feeling I am there and experiencing it all myself, such as I did in your post just now :)
It is always wonderful to discover other places, even if only virtually.
You can discover many beautiful places and learn a little more about the realities of the users that make up this beautiful community.

This was a place that is relatively home and has a great history for many people who dedicated their lives to the railroad.
Today unfortunately only remains to look at it with nostalgia and think about what could have been and was not.

Es una muy buena manera de aprender historia, además, imagino que las niñas y ustedes la habrán pasado muy bien enterándose un poco más en detalle de cosas que desconocían.

Un muy lindo lugar para que las niñas conozcan algo más del ferrocarril, un medio de transporte que es prácticamente desconocido en el interior del país.
Hace unos meses las llevamos a otro museo itinerante donde pudieron subir a al tren con varios vagones, en los cuales había diferentes exposiciones. Recuero que quedaron maravilladas.
Sin dudas las peques crecen a un ritmo que uno no puede creer. Te diré que caí en cuenta de lo rápido que pasa el tiempo desde que he sido padre. Miro las fotos y no puedo creer lo grande que están.

@pablo1601 Muy interesante algunas partes del Museo parecen detenidas en el tiempo, puede uno imaginarse cosas. por lo menos viaje en el tiempo a medida que veía las fotos y lo que tú describías

La verdad que el paseo por el museo es lo más parecido a volver 25 años hacia atrás. El lugar es muy interesante para que los chicos conozcan un poco sobre el ferrocarril, algo que en mi país casi. ha desaparecido, en lo que respecta a la conexión entre diferentes ciudades del interior del país.
En lo personal me gustó mucho porque me hizo recordar cuando era niño y viajada la Buenos Aires hacia Bahía Blanca.
