Shooting the parrot - Disparos al loro

Taking a walk through the neighborhood, we found a parrot feeding in one of the open fields, as if nothing and nobody disturbed it.

Dando un paseo por el barrio encontramos en uno de los descampados un loro alimentándose, como si nada ni nadie lo perturbara.

The first to find her was my girl who, seeing her colors, caught her attention; I did not know what bird it was because here it is not very common to see parrots. Maybe we could find them at another end of the city where they make their nests in a big ravine. There we can find them in piles.

La primera en encontrarla fue mi niña que al ver sus colores llamó su atención; no sabía bien de que pájaro se trataba porque aquí no es muy común ver loros. Quizá podríamos encontrarlos en otro extremo de la ciudad donde hacen sus nidos en un gran barranco. Allí si podemos encontrarlos a montones.

After checking the bird in question, I tried to find an angle to take a shot, as wide as I could to see the details of its head.

Después de verificar el ave que se trataba intenté buscar un ángulo para poder hacer una toma, lo más ampliada que pudiese para poder ver los detalles de su cabeza.

I started shooting with my camera, when I noticed that it practically did not react to my movements, so I got closer little by little, so as not to have the need to use the zoom at a great power and avoid losing quality of the photos.

Comencé a disparar con mi cámara, cuando noté que prácticamente no reaccionaba a mis movimientos, por lo que me fui acercando poco a poco, para no tener la necesidad de utilizar el zoom a una gran potencia y evitar perder calidad de las fotos.

Although I managed to get very close to the little parrot, he never showed distrust or interest in my movements, so I thought that maybe he had run away from his house because he seemed to be used to humans.

Si bien logré llegar a estar muy cerca del pequeño loro, él nunca mostró desconfianza o interés en mis movimientos por lo cual pensé que tal vez se habría escapado de su casa porque parecía estar acostumbrado a los humanos.

After taking a few shots, we decided to continue on our way and continue with our walk

Después de hacer algunos disparos decidimos retomar nuestro camino y seguir con nuestro paseo.
