Saludos comunidad artesana.
El día que elaboré este avión tenía mucha nostalgia y desgano, extrañaba a mi hermana quien a penas tiene 4 meses de haber fallecido. Como una manera de hacer catarsis de mi tristeza, tomé algunas piezas y me dispuse a crear algo.
Coloqué música y creé este jet sencillo que no me tomó mucho tiempo hacer el esqueleto, días después de terminarlo me sentí mejor, fue muy inspirador, de mis momentos de infancia, y con pocas piezas resultó algo bonito. A mi hermana le encantaban mis piezas artísticas. Espero disfruten de mi obra también y se animen a crear arte con material de provecho.

Greetings artisan community.
The day I made this airplane I was very nostalgic and listless, I missed my sister who just 4 months ago passed away. As a way to catharsis my sadness, I took some pieces and set out to create something.
I put music and created this simple jet that didn't take me long to make the skeleton, days after finishing it I felt better, it was a very inspiring, from my childhood moments, and with a few pieces it turned out beautiful. My sister loved my artistic pieces. I hope you enjoy my work too and I encourage you to create art with useful material.

- Tijera, bisturí, exacto, lija, lima
- Segueta de hilo o segueta de arco
- Tijera para cortes de metales
- Pinturas acrílicas y de esmalte.
- Sierra de arco, Pinza, piqueta, alicate.

El cuerpo del Jet es un envase de salsa de tomate y los lados envases donde viene el agua oxigenada para el cabello, Luego estuve preparando otras piezas en par para irlas pegando con el pegamento instantáneo.

Paso 2 / Step 2

La parte de arriba tiene dos tapitas de envases donde vienen caramelos, también usé tapas de marcadores, y el azul es una cuchara plástica.
La tapa de los jugos que vienen en sobres, por su forma son ideales para que funcionen como turbinas.
Las partes metálicas pertenecen a los envases donde vienen las sombras de maquillaje, es interesante para crear texturas e imitar un jet real.

The top part has two little lids of candy containers, I also used marker lids, and the blue one is a plastic spoon.
The lids of the juices that come in sachets, because of their shape, are ideal to work as turbines.
The metallic parts belong to the containers where the makeup shadows come, it is interesting to create textures and imitate a real jet.
Paso 3 / Step 3

Una vez armado el esqueleto del jet, es recomendable dejar sacar bien el pegamento que aun siendo instantáneo es bueno esperar un poco.
Luego se lija la pieza en lugares donde existan imperfecciones.
Aplico la base negra y lo dejo secar dos días en la sombra, ya que el sol podría deformar las piezas.

Once the skeleton of the jet is assembled, it is advisable to let the glue dry well, even if it is instantaneous, it is good to wait a little bit.
Then I sand the piece in places where there are imperfections.
I apply the black base and let it dry for two days in the shade, since the sun could deform the pieces.
Paso 4 / Step 4

El proceso de pintura negra lleva 3 capas para que cubra toda la pieza y entre cada capa se deja secar uno a dos días.
Luego de la última capa de color negro, aplico pintura color cobre metalizado para darle aspecto a metal real oxidado, envejecido aplicando la técnica de pincel seco.
El proyecto lo dejo secar un día más y luego de ello estaría listo para su exhibición con un largo de 20 centímetros aproximadamente

The black paint process takes 3 coats to cover the entire piece and between each coat is left to dry for one to two days.
After the last layer of black color, I apply metallic copper paint to give it a real oxidized metal look, aged by applying the dry brush technique.
I let the project dry one more day and after that it would be ready for exhibition with a length of approximately 20 centimeters.

Saludos maestro, gran trabajo el que nos comparte. Yo aquí preguntando a alguien que tiene más experiencia que yo... Ha probado con piezas móviles? Por ejemplo, un vehículo que abra puertas, ruede, entre otras cosas?
Yo tengo un proyecto desde hace meses con un robot con piezas móviles hecho a base de cartón y masa flexible, se supone que se transforma y me ha llevado bastante tiempo, no logro terminarlo jajaja
Se puede hacer mecanico poniendole un componente por dentro con una bateria o algo eléctrico, no soy muy experto en este y me da un poco de temor con la electricidad, prefiero hacerlo con algo de mecanica en donde pueda moverlo manualmente con alguna palanquita.
Si se puede. Ya quisiera ver tu proyecto muy pronto.
