Jürgen Klopp and his red-clad rockers have more than deserved to have won the Poker of titles they fought to death this season. They won the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup in a pair of penalty shoot-outs on the Wembley pitch against the same opponents, Thomas Tuchel's Chelsea, but the two most glittering titles slipped through their fingers.

The English Premier League slipped away from their grasp by just one point, Manchester City and their 5-minute comeback against Aston Villa snatched away their dream of returning to league glory; a fierce 38-game battle ended with Guardiola's side raising their fist in the air. So near and yet so far, football can be cruel at times and that too is part of the magic of the game.

After the Premier League setback, the night of 28 May at the Stade de France awaited Klopp for his third UEFA Champions League final in charge of his Reds; he had to do so against an old acquaintance, Real Madrid, who had already defeated him in 2018 in the final in Kiev.

Klopp's Reds virtually halved possession with Real Madrid during the 90 minutes of hostilities at the Stade de France, but the Merseyside club generated their trademark attacking football in far greater volume than their opponents. Liverpool and their classic attacking onslaught seemed to suffocate Real Madrid, but Los Blancos held their own thanks to the immeasurable figure of Thibaut Courtois.
Los Reds de Klopp dividieron prácticamente por mitad la posesión de pelota con el Real Madrid durante los 90’ minutos de hostilidades en la grama del Stade de France, pero los de Merseyside generaron su futbol ofensivo tan característico en un volumen mucho mayor al de sus rivales. El Liverpool y sus clásicos arreones ofensivos parecían asfixiar al Real Madrid, pero los blancos resistieron sobre todo en la inconmensurable figura de Thibaut Courtois.
The white resistance was enough so that, with a goal on the hour mark, Los Merengues once again took Liverpool to task. Klopp, an endearing chap, a gentleman among gentlemen, defined what happened with absolute clarity: "The easiest defeat in football to explain; the difference is that they scored a goal and we didn't". Madrid left them on the way to clinch their 14th UEFA Champions League.

Whatever happened in Saint Denis, the Reds had prepared the celebrations for the two Cup titles with a parade through the city in front of their fans, those who never let them walk alone. The Premier League and the UEFA Champions League eluded them, but the communion between coach, team and fans is immense. Last night they fell painfully to Real Madrid, today they have been able to celebrate two titles from a wonderful season in which they played spectacular football. There is honour in defeat, and the Reds are absolutely honourable, thanks in no small part to Jürgen Klopp.

La Premier League y la UEFA Champions League se les resistieron, pero la comunión de entrenador, equipo y afición es inmensa. Anoche caían de forma dolorosa ante el Real Madrid, hoy han sabido celebrar dos títulos de una temporada maravillosa en la que ofrecieron un futbol espectacular. Hay honor en la derrota, y los Reds son absolutamente honorables, gran parte de ello gracias a Jürgen Klopp.

🔥🔥Un gran técnico que le ha devuelto la gloria al Liverpool, porque hace unos años que no estaba Klopp el Liverpool no figuraba en nada, sin embargo ahora son de los mejores equipos de Europa. Los equipos de Klopp siempre son vistosos, pues el estilo de juego del alemán es muy bueno. Un enorme director técnico.

Así es, Jürgen llegó a Merseyside a devolver brillo y protagonismo a un club histórico que había perdido lustre en Inglaterra y en Europa, desde el milagro de Estambul tuvieron que pasar once años para que volvieran a una final europea en 2018, para 2019 la ganaron y ahora han vuelto a caer (han jugado tres finales de Champions en 5 años) y en la liga dan absoluta batalla a la supremacía que ha establecido Guardiola. El Liverpool es un equipazo.
He is truely one of the best managers out there and has a very outstanding personality. With age he also becomes a little bit more calm which makes him even more sympathic in my opinion. I would liek to see him coach Germany at some point but we will see :D
He so is one of the best managers there is today, as for his personality, he is an endearing lad, his maturity makes him even better. I think, with time, he may become an international manager and, it's likely that he will choose to manage his county, so I see that happening in the long run.
