Ha sido por Vinicius pero sin en el campo; el Mundo del fútbol se ha volcado con el 20 Merengue tras los incidentes en Mestalla y el Bernabéu no iba a ser la excepción, el cozo de la Castellana vivía una atmósfera especial, ahí dentro todos eran Vinicius Júnior y la joven estrella brasileña no estaba en el terreno de juego sino sentada en el palco de honor al lado de su Presidente, aquel que confío en su calidad cuando apenas era un niño, ese que lo bancará ante la epidemia de xenofobia general focalizada sobre su persona. Florentino ha decido enviar un mensaje contundente por medio de un hecho sin precedentes, ha sentado a su diestra a un futbolista en activo.
Vini sentado a la diestra de la figura patriarcal de Florentino, no estaba en el verde del Bernabéu, pero daba la sensación de ser omnipresente en el Teatro de la Castellana. La grada de animación “Real Madrid Fans” ha elegido gritar su postura de respaldo al jugador con un contundente “VINICIUS SOMOS TODOS, BASTA YA!” en una pancarta de fondo blanco con letras negras; mientras que la plantilla Merengue al completo ha saltado al campo, previo al partido, con el dorsal de su compañero. ¡Todos eran Vini! El racismo no debería tener más cabida en nuestra sociedad, no tendría porque tenerla en nuestro deporte y un chico que solo se dedica a trabajar duro para superarse en el terreno de juego no debería tener que pasar por lo que Vini está pasando.

Racism should no longer have a place in our society, it shouldn't have a place in our sport and a guy who just works hard to get better on the pitch shouldn't have to go through what Vini is going through.

Tras la aparición de sus compañeros al completo, incluso Mariano -no convocado y en vaqueros-, que posaron de espaldas para la foto de equipo, Vini apareció en la grama de la que lleva ya varios años siendo su casa para agradecer el gesto de la afición con un saludo que fue tan sentido como breve y, acto seguido, volver a ocupar su sitio como invitado especial en el Palco de Honor. Tan lejos ha llegado el asunto con Vinicius que el Consejo Superior de Deportes ha “hermanado” a LaLiga de Tebas y a la Federación de Rubiales para que los jugadores posaran tras una pancarta que rezaba “Racistas fuera del fútbol”.
Y de pronto arrancó un partido que se antojaba descafeinado y con el Madrid tan inconexo como impreciso brindando un par de oportunidades para que el Rayo probase de larga distancia, una se fue por encima del larguero y la segunda obligó a Courtois a meter los puños para repeler el intento del conjunto Vallecano. Al minuto 20 el Bernabéu siguió con los mimos a Vinicius, su Vinicius, coreando su nombre al unísono y provocando que el ariete brasilero se pusiera de pie en agradecimiento para todo aquel cariño recibido.

El Rayo estaba haciendo un grandioso esfuerzo colectivo en media hora, pero la falta de concentración en aquel botepronto les ponía el partido cuesta arriba ante un Real Madrid que, desde que dejó de jugarse los títulos, parece no saber a qué juega y que, además, echaba en falta la presencia en el campo de aquel protagonista omnipresente en el Bernabéu; la electricidad de Vinicius no se consigue en nadie más de la basta plantilla de Ancelotti. El partido siguió su ritmo raro y aparentemente intrascendente, los locales no espabilaron en busca de más, el Rayo simplemente se fue diluyendo.

Al minuto 84’, el Real Madrid habría de pagar esa indolencia con la que estaba encarando el encuentro; un trazo a profundidad sobre el andarivel izquierdo encontró a Pep Chavarría quien vio llegar a Raul de Tomás en segunda línea, el delantero de extracción Madridista, encañonó a su ex equipo para decretar el empate ajustando su remate por bajo al primer poste. Dicen por ahí que, para que la cuña apriete, ha de ser del mismo palo!
El Real Madrid parecía avocado a un nuevo resultado negativo, y habían hecho méritos para ese nuevo pinchazo, pero Rodrygo tenía otros planes; el delantero carioca quería rendir homenaje para su amigo Vinicius aprovechando el error colectivo en la salida de pelota del conjunto vallecano. Ceballos detectó el espacio del que gozaba Rodrygo para que este terminase por dinamitar las redes visitante al minuto 89’ y acto seguido levantó el punño en una clara señal contra el racismo. Vinicius estuvo más presente que nunca en un encuentro que no pudo disputar por molestias en la rodilla.

Una locura lo que ha pasado con Vinicius, jamás había visto que fuera tan fuerte contra un jugador en específico. Me ha encantado que rindieran ese gran apoyo y el gesto al minuto 20. Ojalá, se pueda ir limpiando todo esto que no tiene sentido alguno.
