Recently, a mining platform called chainmine started to sound too much on youtube. It has caught my attention that many youtubers promote it as a serious cloud mining platform without even having done a little research on the web to determine whether it is legitimate or not.
Scams like these abound and today I am going to present you my little research with which I have determined that this is one more scam and that your money is at serious risk if you ignore it.
Current status of the company chainmine.
If we go to the site and explore it a little we can see a page that although simple in my opinion has a good design so that at first glance can inspire confidence. In addition there is a section with interesting information that could inspire more confidence, as it claims to have SSL certificate, that is a company registered in UK, which is a member of the blockchain association and belongs to the financial commission.
Let's review several points. Starting with the registration of the company in UK.
If we go to the website https://suite.endole.co.uk/insight/company/13689029-chainmine-ltd which is in charge of listing the companies registered in UK we can appreciate that there is no information about the company other than the director, a Mr Billy Nelson. The profile of the CEO has no link to his linkedin or anything to contact him and it is noteworthy that his supposed photo is generated by AI, how do I know? well just see that the photo looks very similar to photos generated by artbreeder.com, they are close-up photos with the same pose and often with the background out of focus, then I will put some examples.

You can also see that there is no contact information, phone number or website. This is very common when it comes to phantom companies that turn out to be scams, this was the case of another supposed binary options company called Okayex. If we start looking for other more reliable companies we can see that the companies have more information in general including linkedin profiles.
The next point is regarding its status as a partner of the blockchain association, because if we explore the page of https://theblockchainassociation.org/members/ we can not find chainmine among its partners, that is another point to consider.
And finally and the data that confirms the scam is an announcement on the page of the financial commission alerting people that chainmine is not registered with them and that it is a confirmed scam.
In conclusion I do not recommend investing a single penny in this fraudulent site, I hope this information is useful and that you can share this article with your friends and family to avoid falling into the scam.
Hace poco tiempo empezó a sonar demasiado en youtube una plataforma de minería que se llama chainmine. Me ha llamado mucho la atención el hecho de que muchos youtubers la promueven como una plataforma seria de minería en la nube sin siquiera haber hecho una pequeña investigación en la web para determinar si es legitima o no.
Estafas como estas abundan y hoy les voy a presentar mi pequeña investigacion con la cual he determinado que esta es una estafa mas y que su dinero esta en serio riesgo si hacen caso omiso.
Estado actual de la empresa chainmine.
Si vamos a la pagina y la exploramos un poco podemos ver una pagina que aunque simple a mi criterio tiene un buen diseño por lo que a primera vista puede inspirar confianza. Además hay un apartado con información interesante que podría inspirar mas confianza, pues dice contar con certificado SSL, que es una empresa registrada en UK, que es miembro de la asociación blockchain y que pertenece a la comisión financiera.
Vamos a revisar varios puntos. Comenzando con el registro de la empresa en UK.
Si vamos a la pagina https://suite.endole.co.uk/insight/company/13689029-chainmine-ltd que se encarga de enlistar a las empresas registradas en UK podemos apreciar que no hay ninguna informacion de la empresa mas alla del director, un tal Mr Billy Nelson. El perfil del director general no tiene ningún enlace a su linkedin ni nada para contactarlo y cabe resaltar que su supuesta foto es generada por IA, ¿Cómo lo se? bueno solo hay que ver que la foto se parece mucho a fotos generadas por artbreeder.com, son fotos en primer plano con la misma pose y muchas veces con el fondo desenfocado, a continuación pondré algunos ejemplos.
También se puede ver que no hay información de contactos, numero telefónico o pagina web. Esto es muy común cuando se trata de empresas fantasma que resultan ser estafas, este fue el caso de otra supuesta empresa de opciones binarias llamada Okayex. Si nos ponemos a buscar otras empresas mas confiables podemos ver que las empresas cuentan con mas información en general incluyendo perfiles de linkedin.
El siguiente punto es referente a su estatus de socio de la blockchain association, pues si exploramos la pagina de https://theblockchainassociation.org/members/ tampoco podemos encontrar a chainmine entre sus socios, ese es otro punto a considerar.
Y finalmente y el dato que confirma la estafa es un anuncio en la pagina de la comisión financiera alertando a la gente que chainmine no esta registrada con ellos y que es una estafa confirmada.
En conclusión no recomiendo invertir un solo centavo en esta pagina fraudulenta, espero que esta información les sirva y que puedan compartir este articulo con sus amigos y familiares para que eviten caer en la estafa.
