This year 2021 is coming to an end, friends of Leo finance. We know that this has been a difficult year both in health and financial issues. The never ending pandemic has caused the traditional and crypto financial system to have huge turbulences. Especially at the end of this year where we saw the whole market collapse again and with a surprising amount of scams. Especially NFT gaming scams.

NFT games have had a great relevance this 2021 being axie infinityy the most famous and the only one that has managed to survive so many years. However this does not mean that all games that come out will have the same luck. the vast majority of games will die either by having an unsustainable economy (although all the economies of the NFT games are pyramids but that's another topic) or simply for being scams and rugpull. And we are going to focus on the latter.

That's why today I have decided to make the Scam 2021 awards to the best scams in the play to earn world. These awards are not based on the amount of money stolen but according to my criteria how good strategies they used to scam their investors. Without further ado, let's get started.

5.Squid Game.

In the number 5 position we have a scam that was extremely famous and that went around the world in many newscasts. We are talking about squid game. This token was released at the end of October and was a very famous honeypot that took advantage of the fame of the Netflix series to which it alludes and which was used to boost the price of this token that rose 300% in a matter of a few days and reached a price of 2800 usd but no one could sell. Although many international media warned of the scam the damage was already done and in the end the developers made a rugpull stealing 3.38 million usd.

4.Block farm club.

This was a game similar to PVU, some players could withdraw only 3 times during 3 weeks. The token of this game shot up to 8 usd and then went down and never recovered. The developers promised a blockverse which never materialized and with which they only played with the money and trust of their investors.

3.Cryptomines.

This game in its time was a revolution as was pvu that although it was not a scam in itself the game is practically dead. In fact this game had such a great impact that many new games are based on the system that cryptomines had. The token of this game called eternal started with a price of 0.54 cents and in two months it reached a price of more than 400 usd and at its highest peak on November 26th it reached 787 usd. It was positioned as one of the most valuable games of its time and even surpassed the price of BNB. But against all odds the value of the token plummeted by 99%, reaching a value of 3 usd and is currently worth 1.70 usd.

2.Coin to fish.

It is time to dive into the deepest and most icy seas with this game that promised so many things and turned out to be a big scam. Obviously I mean coin to fish. this was a real slow rugpull where the devs sold little by little millionaire amounts of tokens with the excuse of paying the team but more important to finance the supposed 3D game. this supposed game promised to have a PVP mode and NFTs fishing but in the end it turned out that the 3D environment could be bought for 10 usd in unity turning out to be a big scam. And not satisfied with that the developers made the excuse that the life time of the games was 3 months and so they decided to let it die and tried to continue scamming with a game called calim dog that never saw the light due to the threats received by the developers. Despite this there is still a game of theirs that you have to be careful with called rise city. Although it has managed to stay on its feet, it may be a honeypot.

1.Beast masters.

This was one of the most recent scams. It was said that around 500 thousand usd were stolen. However recently there have been estimates of up to 4 million usd. This was a master scam because of the many things the developers did to gain the trust of investors. They did like coin to fish a slow rugpull but unlike them they had a certified token, they had a very complete whitepaper, they had an art contest and they had a good staking system in which many deposited their tokens but when the site went down no one could withdraw.

Well friends with this I close the year with my last post in hive. It is clear that something must change urgently in the world of NFT games. I personally did not fall into any of the scams I mentioned above because I do not believe in NFT games as they are centralized projects prone to be scams. Despite this, it is clear that a regulation is urgently needed because the scammers are getting better and better adapted to make more elaborate and crude scams. Se acaba este 2021 amigos de Leo finance. Savemos que este ha sido un año dificil tanto en temas de salud como financieros. La pandemia interminable ha hecho que el sistema financiero tradicional y cripto tenga enormes turbulencias. En especial al cierre de este año donde vimos todo el mercado desplomarse otra vez y con una cantidad sorprende de estafas. En especial estafas en los juegos NFT.

Los juegos NFT han tenido una gran relevancia este 2021 siendo axie infinityy el mas famoso y el único que ha logrado sobrevivir tantos años. Sin embargo esto no quiere decir que todos los juegos que salen van a tener la misma suerte. la gran mayoría de juegos van a morir ya sea por tener una economía insostenible (aunque todas las economías de los juegos NFT son pirámides pero ese es otro tema) o simplemente por ser estafas y hacer rugpull. Y en estos últimos nos vamos a centrar.

Es por eso que hoy he decidido hacer los premios Scam 2021 a los mejores scam en el mundo de los play to earn. Estos premios no se basan en la cantidad de dinero robada sino según mi criterio que tan buenas estrategias usaron para poder estafar a sus inversores. Sin mas dilación comencemos.

En el puesto numero 5 tenemos una estafa que fue extremadamente famosa y que dio la vuelta al mundo en muchos noticieros. Estamos hablando de squid game. Este token que salió a finales de octubre y que fue un honeypot muy famoso que se ayudo de la fama de la serie de netflix a la que hace alusión y de la que se valió para impulsar el precio de este token que subió un 300% en cuestión de muy pocos días y que alcanzo un precio de 2800 usd pero que nadie pudo vender. A pesar de que muchos medios internacionales avisaron de la estafa el daño ya estaba hecho y al final los desarrolladores hicieron un rugpull robandose 3.38 millones de usd.

Este fue un juego parecido a PVU, algunos jugadores pudieron retirar únicamente 3 veces durante 3 semanas. El token de este juego se disparo hasta los 8 usd y después bajo y jamás repunto. Los desarrolladores prometieron un blockverse el cual nunca se concreto y con el que solo jugaron con el dinero y la confianza de sus inversores.

3.Cryptomines.

Este juego en su momento fue una revolución al igual que lo fue pvu que aunque no fue una estafa en si el juego esta prácticamente muerto. De hecho este juego tuvo un gran impacto que muchos nuevos juegos se están basando en el sistema que tuvo cryptomines. El token de este juego llamado eternal arranco con un precio de 0.54 centavos de dólar y que en dos meses llego a costar mas de 400 usd y en su pico mas alto el 26 de noviembre llego a costar 787 usd. Se posiciono como uno de los juegos mas valiosos de su momento y que llego a superar en precio al BNB. Pero contra todo pronostico el valor del token se desplomo un 99% llegando a valer 3 usd y que actualmente vale 1.70 usd.

Toca sumergimos a los mares mas gélidos y profundos con este juego que prometía tantas cosas y que resulto ser una gran estafa. Obviamente me refiero a coin to fish. este fue un verdadero rugpull lento donde los devs vendieron de a poco cantidades millonarias de tokens cn la excusa de pagar al equipo pero mas importante para financiar el supuesto juego en 3D.este supuesto juego prometía tener un modo PVP y de pesca de NFTs pero que al final resulto ser que el entorno 3D se podía comprar por 10 usd en unity resultando ser una gran estafa. Y no conforme con eso los desarrolladores pusieron de excusa que el tiempo de vida de los juegos era de 3 meses y por eso decidieron dejarlo morir y trataron de seguir estafando con un juego llamado calim dog que jamás vio la luz debido a las amenazas que recibieron los desarrolladores. Pese a esto aun hay un juego de ellos con el que hay que tener cuidado llamado rise city. Que aunque se ha logrado mantener en pie puede que sea un honeypot.

Este fue unos de las estafas mas recientes. Se decía que se robaron al rededor de 500 mil usd. Sin embargo recientemente han habido estimaciones de hasta 4 millones de usd. Esta fue una estafa maestra debido a la gran cantidad de cosas que hicieron los desarrolladores para ganarse la confianza de los inversores. Hicieron al igual que coin to fish un rugpull lento pero a diferenci de ellos tenían un token con certificación, tenían un whitepaper muy completo, hicieron un concurso de arte y tenían un buen sistema de staking en el cual muchos depositaron sus tokens pero cuando la pagina cayo nadie pudo retirar.

Bueno amigos con esto cierro el año con mi ultimo post en hive. Esta claro que algo debe cambiar de forma urgente en el mundo de los juegos NFT. Yo en lo personal no caí en ninguna de las estafas que mencione arriba ya que yo no creo en en los juegos NFT pues son proyectos centralizados propensos a ser estafas. Pese a esto es claro que urge una regulación al respecto ya que los estafadores se van adaptando cada vez mejor para hacer estafas mas elaboradas y creen que se pueden salir con la suya siempre.
