Ganar dinero fácil, es el sueño de todo mundo. Aceptémoslo, si tuviéramos la opción de nunca más volver a trabajar y tener una fuente de dinero segura para solo dedicarnos a nuestras pasiones creo que nadie lo rechazaría. Existe la falsa creencia de que los humanos necesitamos el trabajo como una forma de distracción y que nuestra mente se ocupe en algo productivo. Sin embargo la realidad es que la mayoría de los humanos están atados a trabajos esclavizantes y muy pocos gozan del privilegio de trabajar en lo que realmente les apasiona. Y es debido a este fallo en el sistema que muchos buscan oportunidades jugosas para ganar dinero fácil y una que se ha popularizado en los últimos años es de las más peligrosas: me refiero al copytrading.

El copytrading se basa en la idea del trading social, en el que por medio de un broker o de alguna plataforma puedes seguir las operaciones de traders humanos o robots de trading que por lo general suelen ser cuentas con rentabilidades espectaculares. A primera vista esto puede parecer el santo grial de las inversiones, fondeas tu cuenta, buscas algún trader rentable con un rendimiento de digamos no sé, el 500% anual para que en automático hagas las misma operaciones que el trader y a disfrutar de la lluvia de dinero.

Bueno, pues seguramente eso es lo que estaban pensando las miles de personas que seguían a un robot de forex llamado leviatan fx. Y es que hace casi un día explotó la noticia de que este robot de trading (el cual administraba cerca de $18 millones de dólares de las cuentas que lo seguían) tuvo un drawdon del -86.65%.

Pero no fue el único, si vemos a este otro robot también popular en copyfx RichEmpire vemos que tuvo un retroceso del 98%.

Muchos le achacan estas pérdidas a los movimientos extremos que presentó el mercado debido a la recesión y la inflación y los mercados reaccionaron. Pero si vemos algo en común en estos robots además del apalancamiento excesivo que en el caso de RuchEmpire es de 1:1000 es que son cuentas que hacen martingala, es decir doblan el lotaje cuando pierden una operación. Esto es terriblemente peligroso ya que deja de ser trading y se convierte en un casino en toda regla, que cuando vas perdiendo doblas tu apuesta con la esperanza de recuperar tus perdidas anteriores.

Para los que me siguen desde hace un tiempo yo tengo una sección en mi blog donde hago day trading en bitcoin y como verán el apalancamiento máximo que hago es de 1:10 y nunca hago martingala y máximo opero 2 veces al día. Y aún con todo eso y siendo bastante conservador he tenido pérdidas diarias de hasta el -8.5%. La verdad es que es lamentable que toda esa gente haya perdido ese dinero, pues para poder seguir a robots como Leviatan FX tenias que tener un mínimo de $3000 dólares en tu cuenta para poder copiar sus operativas. Solo imagínense, si tenías $3000 dólares con la bajada podrías quedar con unos $400 dólares, lo más triste es que la mayoría de los seguidores de leviatan FX eran latinos. Espero que después de esto la gente tome conciencia del tipo de negocio tan inestable que es este y que no caigan en las trampas del dinero fácil.

Con esto no quiero que me malinterpreten, yo no estoy en contra del copytrading, sin embargo hay que estar conscientes de que en cualquier momento cualquier trader así sea humano o robot puede quemar una cuenta e irse a cero. Nunca estamos seguros de que quien está detrás de la pantalla ni de los errores que puede cometer. Lo mejor es diversificar y aprender a hacer trading por uno mismo, de esta forma puedes calcular tus propios riesgos y administrar tu dinero y no dejarlo en manos de terceros que nunca sabes que podría pasar.

Just imagine, if you had $3000 dollars with the drawdonw you could be left with about $400 dollars, the saddest thing is that most of the followers of leviatan FX were Latinos. I hope that after this people become aware of the kind of unstable business that this is and not fall into the traps of easy money.

I don't want to be misunderstood, I am not against copytrading, however we must be aware that at any time any trader, human or robot, can burn an account and go to zero. We are never sure who is behind the screen or the mistakes they can make. The best thing to do is to diversify and learn to trade by yourself, this way you can calculate your own risks and manage your money and not leave it in the hands of third parties that you never know what could happen.
