Sweet dessert: Khanom Leum Kleun

Hi bloggers and food lovers, today I'm going to share a recipe for a beautiful, sweet and savory sweet dessert called Leum Kleun. This is a sweet dish from Thailand, and it's easy to make and doesn't require many ingredients. Okay, let's get started.

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 5 tablespoons rice flour
  • 350 ml coconut milk
  • a pinch of salt
  • 150 grams hunkwe flour/mung bean flour
  • 1 packet vanilla powder
  • 350 ml water
  • 3 drops blue food coloring

Steps:

  • Put the rice flour and sugar in a pan

  • Add a pinch of salt

  • Add the coconut milk

  • Stir until the flour and sugar dissolve

  • Turn on the heat and cook until the mixture thickens

  • Remove from heat and set aside. We will use it as the filling

  • Put the hunkwe flour, vanilla powder, and granulated sugar into a pan

  • Add water and food coloring, stir until the sugar and flour dissolve

  • Turn on the heat and cook until it thickens and turns a clearer color

  • Turn off the heat

  • Put it into a piping bag

  • Pour into a mold greased with margarine (be careful as it is hot, or you can use a spoon to pour the batter and make sure not to overfill it)

  • Put the rice flour filling into a piping bag and pipe it into the center of the mold

  • Let it sit at room temperature, then put it in the chiller

  • Khanom Leum Kleun is ready to eat
