Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu: The Funniest Anime I've Ever Seen

Saludos Animé Fan de #TheAnimeRealm. Hoy quiero hablarles un poco sobre uno de los animés más divertidos y graciosos que he visto. Se trata de Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu. Recuerda que mis post no contienen spoiler, así que puedes leer tranquilo.

El día de ayer tuve la oportunidad de ver esta serie completa, y es que 𝙵𝚞𝚕𝚕 𝙼𝚎𝚝𝚊𝚕 𝙿𝚊𝚗𝚒𝚌? 𝙵𝚞𝚖𝚘𝚏𝚏𝚞 es un spin-off de la serie con el mismo nombre (omitiendo el Fumoffu), conformada por 4 temporadas, las cuales empezaron a transmitirse en el año 2002. Sin embargo, este spin-off se estrenó en el 2003 en espera de la segunda temporada.
Si, dije segunda temporada. Y es porque Fumoffu es considerado relleno en la serie oficial, es decir, no está relacionada a ningún manga, pero la serie como tal está tan bien hecha y es tan exageradamente graciosa que de mi parte recomiendo ver toda la serie en general, incluidos los episodios de relleno.

Esta serie se caracteriza por ser de género Mecha en tema general pero durante este Spin-Off no vemos ningún robot gigante, salvo un peluche modificado. En cuanto a la trama, muestra personajes colegiales, de 16 años aproximadamente (que para efectos del protagonista), ya cuenta con experiencia militar desde temprana edad.
La misión durante toda la serie, es la de proteger a Chidori, ya que ella es considerada alguien de alto valor militar por poseer conocimientos científicos avanzados en su memoria. Lo sé, es algo totalmente loco pero así de divertida es la serie en general. El contraste entre las demás temporadas y el Spin-Off del que les hablo hoy, es bastante grande.

Las temporadas oficiales están impregnadas de mucho drama, acción y pequeños toques de romance (más que todo por parte de Chidori hacia Sagara). Y es que Chidori es una romántica empedernida (como yo lo fui en mi época adolescente) donde deja volar su imaginación creándose situaciones románticas con el protagonista. Mientas que Sagara sólo piensa en proteger a Chidori, éste no sabe absolutamente nada de los sentimientos de ella hacia él.
De hecho él es un soldado de los pies a la cabeza, no tiene otra cosa en la cual pensar (como una persona normal) que no sean temas relacionados con la guerra, las armas y su misión. Y es que esto es lo que hace a Sagara realmente interesante, que sea un adolescente que no le interesen las mujeres, no porque no le guste el sexo femenido sino porque no sabe relacionarse con ellas realmente, y al no ser su fuerte se enfoca en lo que si sabe hacer, ser un soldado.

Sin embargo en ciertos momentos y situaciones de la serie (no sólo el Spin-Off), Sagara muestra cierto nivel de afecto hacia Chidori sin saber lo que siente realmente por ella. Y esto es una de las cosas que más me gustó de la serie en sí. La evolución de los personajes a lo largo de la historia y cómo crece su relación poquito a poquito, con pequeños gestos entre ambos y empezando con una linda amistad basada en confianza pura.
Esto también se nota un poco más en Fumoffu, definitivamente Chidori está hecha para Sagara y la química que hay entre ambos es especial. Me causa mucha gracia cómo Chidori debe irse a los extremos con Sagara para ponerlo en su lugar y hacerlo recapacitar. Además que la serie en este Spin-Off desarrolla más peso en personajes de relleno que en los personajes principales.

Fumoffu cuenta con 12 capítulos en total, todos realmente muy buenos, incluso algunos episodios están divididos en dos partes, por lo que se podría agregar que cuenta más de doce historias en sus capítulos. Mi favorito es el episodio 1 y el 4, ok todos en general jajaja cada uno tiene algo especial que me hizo reir mucho, pero éstos dos específicamente me hicieron reir a carcajadas.
Mi personaje favorito en este Spin-Off es el de la policía, para mí fue el más gracioso y le da un toque divertidísimo a la serie. Es un personaje inesperado, impulsivo y obsesivo. Por supuesto que Chidori y Sagara me encantan también, así como sus amigos. Pero lo que les quiero decir con este post es que la serie es tan buena e incluso más graciosa que Family X Spy.

Tessa (la chica de cabello blanco) también es un personaje que me encanta, ella al igual que Chidori tiene fuertes sentimientos hacia Sagara y las escenas que muestran entre ambas peleando por la atención de él son muy divertidas. Desde mi punto de vista este Spin-Off te sacará una sonrisa e incluso al menos una carcajada en algún momento. Eso te lo aseguro.
Yo me divertí mucho viendo cada capitulo nuevamente. Y me terminaré de ver la serie completa ya que en aquel entonces sólo la vi hasta la temporada después de Fumoffu. Es ahorita que me estoy enterando que la serie continuó hasta el 2018 con el nombre Full Metal Panic!: Victoria Invisible. Fue la última temporada que salió.

Esta serie a nivel general está muy bien hecha. Y aunque no soy fan ni seguidora de series de animé con el género Mecha, Full Metal Panic! para mí es especial y una de las mejores que he visto después de Evangelion (otra serie que quiero volver a ver). Si tienes chance de darle una oportunidad, no te vas a arrepentir. Además que los dibujos tienen un estilo de detalle muy bonito, para ser de aquella época.
Yo te recomiendo ver toda la serie de Full Metal Panic! pero en especial Fumoffu. Es super divertida, graciosa y realmente muy buena con situaciones sencillas pero exageradas que causan mucha risa. De mi parte tiene y tendrá 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 de 5 Estrellitas Doradas, no sólo para Fumoffu sino para toda la serie en general. Por supuesto que por mi parte está super recomendada.

Yesterday I had the opportunity to watch this complete series, and it is 𝙵𝚞𝚞𝚕𝚕𝚕 𝙼𝚎𝚝𝚊𝚕 𝙿𝚊𝚗𝚒𝚌? 𝙵𝚞𝚖𝚘𝚏𝚏𝚏𝚞 is a spin-off of the series with the same name (omitting Fumoffu), consisting of 4 seasons, which began airing in 2002. However, this spin-off premiered in 2003 pending the second season.
Yes, I said the second season. And it's because Fumoffu is considered filler in the official series, that is, it's not related to any manga, but the series as such is so well done and so over-the-top funny that I for one recommend watching the whole series in general, including the filler episodes.

This series is characterized by being of Mecha genre in general theme but during this Spin-Off we do not see any giant robot, except for a modified stuffed animal. As for the plot, it features schoolboy characters, approximately 16 years old (which for the protagonist's purposes), already have military experience from an early age.
The mission throughout the series, is to protect Chidori, as she is considered someone of high military value for possessing advanced scientific knowledge in her memory. I know, it's crazy but that's how much fun the series is. The contrast between the other seasons and the Spin-Off I'm talking about today, is quite big.
Origin
The official seasons are filled with a lot of drama, action, and small touches of romance (mostly from Chidori towards Sagara). And Chidori is a hopeless romantic (as I was in my teenage years) where she lets her imagination run wild creating romantic situations with the main character. While Sagara only thinks about protecting Chidori, Chidori knows absolutely nothing about her feelings towards him.
In fact, he is a soldier from head to toe, he has nothing else to think about (like a normal person) other than issues related to war, weapons, and his mission. And this is what makes Sagara interesting, he is a teenager who is not interested in women, not because he doesn't like women but because he doesn't know how to relate to them, and not being his forte he focuses on what he does know how to do, being a soldier.

However in certain moments and situations in the series (not just the Spin-Off), Sagara shows some level of affection towards Chidori without knowing how he feels about her. And this is one of the things I liked most about the series itself. The evolution of the characters throughout the story and how their relationship grows little by little, with small gestures between the two starting with a nice friendship based on pure trust.
This is also a bit more noticeable in Fumoffu, Chidori is made for Sagara and the chemistry between the two is special. I find it funny how Chidori has to go to extremes with Sagara to put him in his place and make him come to his senses. Also, the series in this Spin-Off places more weight on filler characters than the main characters.

Fumoffu has 12 episodes in total, all very good, even some episodes are even divided into two parts, so you could add that it tells more than twelve stories in its chapters. My favorite is episode 1 and 4, ok all of them in general hahaha each one has something special that made me laugh a lot, but these two specifically made me laugh out loud.
My favorite character in this Spin-Off is the cop, for me, he was the funniest and gave a hilarious touch to the series. He is an unexpected, impulsive, and obsessive character. Of course Chidori and Sagara I love them too, as well as their friends. But what I want to tell you with this post is that the series is just as good and even funnier than Family X Spy.

Tessa (the white-haired girl) is also a character I love, she just like Chidori has strong feelings towards Sagara and the scenes that show them fighting for his attention are very funny. From my point of view, this Spin-Off will get a smile out of you and even at least a laugh at some point. That's for sure.
I had a lot of fun watching each episode again. And I will finish watching the whole series since I only watched it until the season after Fumoffu back then. It's just now that I'm finding out that the series continued until 2018 under the name Full Metal Panic!: Invisible Victory. It was the last season that came out.

This series on a general level is very well done. And although I'm not a fan or follower of anime series in the Mecha genre, Full Metal Panic! is special and one of the best I've seen after Evangelion (another series I want to watch again). If you have a chance to give it a chance, you won't regret it. Besides, the drawings have a very nice detail style, for being from that time.
I recommend you to watch the whole Full Metal Panic! series, but especially Fumoffu. It's super fun, funny, and very good with simple but exaggerated situations that cause a lot of laughter. From my side, it has and will have 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 of 5 Little Golden Stars, not only for Fumoffu but for the whole series in general. Of course for my part, it is super recommended.

I can't believe someone made a post about this anime. I remember watching it about 15 years ago and I was laughing my ass off. I think it's an underrated anime considering how entertaining it is.

Such a fun season. Have you seen Amagi Brilliant Park yet? It’s a work place comedy with Bonta-Kun (the mascot from this) as one of the main characters and both series are supposed to take place in the same universe but are different genres altogether.

honestamente poco recuerdo de esta serie pues en tv a veces la daban y otras veces no.
Me llamaba bastante la atencion el doblaje y las palabras gruesas que usaban en esta serie, al punto de que en comedia llena bastante.
Cosa que en tv de ahora no se puede por correcion politica.
Lo otro era el nombre, se confundia con full metal alquimista y otras similares, asi que era dificil topar la serie de nuevo para seguir viendo epidosios.
Yo no me confundía y nunca logré verla en la tv, tuve que comprarme los dvds y ver la serie así. Mi colección no es muy grande pero esta definitivamente es una de mis favoritas por las carcajadas que me robó. Gracias por pasar y comentar, tiempo sin verte, saludos!
